I'm 19 and this was my first Motley Crue Concert in my life. I have
listen
to them since the age of 8 and still love them today. I had floor
seats in
the middle of the area. Great view. When they finaly came out there
first
song was "Find Myself" They played all my favorites "Girls Girls
Girls"
"Wild Side" Shout '97" The Pyro was insane!! (Better than Kiss)
They
sounded great! The best I have heard in any band. THE ULTIMATE LIVE
BAND.
But there were two interuptions during the show!
They started to play "Don't Go Away Mad.. Just Go Away". About 15
seconds
till the end of the song. Some dumbass in the front row threw a drink
on
stage at Vince Neil.
He walk off the stage untill the song was over. After a few seconds
Nikki
Sixx came out and said this "Hey! It's been along time since we have
been
here right? Well if you want to throw shit, Throw it at these
assholes in
the front row here!" I have to admit that jerk spoiled the mood for
the
moment. They went on to play Dr. Feelgood and Vince came back on
stage.
What happen next will shock the hell out of anyone.
The first encore was of course "Home Sweet Home" After it was over
the stage
was dark. The light shined on Nikki Sixx. all of sudden he says
"That was our last song. We will not play anymore songs tonight! You
know
why? Cause you have SORRY ASS SECURITY here! This black Asshole dick
here
in the front row just punched out a girl! Thats right I am talking to
you
asshole. I can't stand people like you. What you are is JUST A BLACK
NIGGER!!! That's right a nigger." The crowd cheers. They must have
exchange
words from crowd to stage. Nikki screams on "DON'T CALL ME A FUCKING
RACIST YOU SHIT HEAD, YOU DESEVRVE TO BE CALLED A NIGGER! "YOU SICKEN
ME!!!!!""HOW DARE YOU DO THAT TO ANOTHER HUMAN BEING!" he screeches
"SUCK MY DICK YOU ASSHOLE!!!" Nikki Sixx became so enrage he told the
audience to kick the security guards ass. "LET'S KICK HIS ASS" he
goes on
"YEAH KICK HIS ASS! KICK HIS ASS! HOW YOU LIKE IT! KICK HIS ASS.
The crowd was roaring all over the colisum. I could not see from my
seat
anything that took place in the front row floor. So I don't know what
happened to the guy. After all of that Nikki Sixx looks at the
audience a"Do you want us to play??" The crowd cheers of course. And
Motley Crue
played Generation Swine. Vince Neil spit at the guy during the song!"
They played for another 20 min and finished the show. It was the most
shocking experience I have ever had. I thought a riot was going to
break out!
I must say Nikki Sixx really cares to what happens to us Motley fans.
I have read letters in Metal Edge on how security guys harass metal
fans in
clubs. Well after last night, this can happen in big venues as well.
IF you were at the Greensboro Show E-mail me and tell me if you saw
what happened to the guy if you had a better view or were near all the
action!

What's funny is that the issue even comes up. Most of my friends are of
different ethnicitys than me, but when I bicker with them, I don't try to
think of dopey ethnic names for them. I don't call my pal Adrian "Hiawatha"
(not in anger at least, usually I call him sweetcheeks) and calling a black
guy a nigger just kinda indicates a hostility towards blacks if'n you ask me.
I realize no one did ask me, but I answered anyway. I like the Spice Girls.

I know we've had our differences, Rob, but what I am fixing to say I am
not saying to be sarcastic with you. I agree with you that Motley-mel
seems to think "nigger" is an appropriate term for a "dick head black
person" (which I COMPLETELY disagree with the use of the word "nigger"
as a derogatory statement against a certain race of people!) However,

the word "nigger" actually stands for someone that is stupid, and
therefore can be used to describe any one person from ANY race. Yes, it

to ANYONE!! I don't know which way Nikki meant it when he said it, but
Nikki is very literate and he could have meant it in the way that the
dictionary defines it. In the circumstances, I would say it fit the
security guard. Even if it would have been a white security guard I
still think the word would have been appropriate under the
circumstances. (That is assuming that Nikki meant the word in the way
the dictionary defines the word. Which I seriously think he did mean it
in that way, but I wasn't there and I'm not Nikki so I can't say for
sure he did mean it in that way.)

yet I have heard black people use that word towards each other and nothing

Even though I know what the actually meaning of the word "nigger" is (as
I put in my other post), I do have to agree, Mike, that any of those
words you stated would have been MUCH more appropriate. Technically the
word would have applied in that situation, but socially it was a very
bad choice. Even if Nikki meant it in the way of the actual definition,
there is too much controversy that comes from that word.

Well it seems to me that the security guard deserved to be called anigger.
Fuck him. And if he wants to play the race card and sue the Crue
then I think the girl who got beat up (an she IS THE REAL VICTIM) should
sue the hell out of the security guard and the security company and take
any money they might win from the Crue. If it had been a black band on
the stage and they had called a white security guard a "cracker" or any
other racial slur, nobody would give a shit. This is a double standard!
Why should whites be subjected to racial slurs and no-one give shit? But
when the black guy gets called a racial slur he gets to sue for money!
Even when this black bastard is the real problem! He beat up an innocent
person and then gets called a bad word for it. Now he can sue!!!!

worked cuz they were on the local news. I was on the 9th row and I didn't see
what happened to set him off, so I can't justify his actions. I do know that
there were a lot of fights that night, so security was very tense.

Can you blame him (the exec)? I'm certainly not ultra-politically correct or
a pollyana, but there are certain things that you just don't do in a society.
