Although Metallica have covered a few Diamond Head songs (Am I Evil, The
Prince and Helpless) the original version of their cover of Breadfan was
done by Budgie. An old favourite of Lars'.

It was Budgie, wasn't it? Excellent tune.

metallica also did a cover of diamond head's "sucking my love" on a demo
tape in 1982. the tape included "helpless", "killing time", "sucking my
love", "let it loose" as will as a few of metallica's own tunes. the
tape was given to a friend of the band named dave marrs(sp?). i got most
of the recordings taped from a radio show on knac called mandatory metallica.

AAAaahahahahaaa, you crazy kids..

Breadfan was written by a BAND called "Budgie", not the Siouxsie guitarist.

They were a 70's hard rock band, and about the punkest thing about them was their
nifty flares. Get some history, guy.

Seeya.
