The next CD will be Maiden's 12th. The other day I was trying to
picture what it would be like. "Disciples" came to mind for the title
because of it's connection to the number 12. Then I thought that the
album should have 12 songs. After all the rumors of people getting fired
and reunions and the like, I figured that Steve should try to get 12
disciples of Maiden to play on the album. The first four song should be
sung by Blaze, (which I heard they already have recorded) the next four
sung by Bruce and the last four by Paul. The current line-up should be
joined by Doug Samson, Dennis Stratton, Clive Burr, Paul Di'anno, Bruce,
and Adrain. It should be produced by Martin, Nigel and Steve. It will be
like a reunion album in a way but it will still be considered their next
effort and may bring some fresh ideas back to the fold.

Well, your disciples-thing could be a good idea for a concept album, and
with the various past Maiden members joining would be cool too, but I think
it's a bit too much to ask...

For the next tour I'd like to see Bruce singing. It would be cool if
Maiden had a big reunion but the main thing that I'm worried about is the next
album. I thought the X Factor was great but Virtual XI was a step down. The
next album is do or die. Maiden need to reach out to other sources. Hopefully
we'll see Dickinson and Smith back for this album and the tour.

It doesn't matter, 'cause they'll cancel the tour anyway.
