OK, I'm pissed. Those record company bastiches who decide what songs go on what albums and cds. The Live After Death cd would be awsome if the mother fuckers at capitol would have left all of the songs on it.
Here's the plan, ok Maiden Maniacs. We're going to find out the E-mail addresses of some of the bastiches sittin' pretty in their leather office chairs at capitol and were going to fill their mailboxes with letters demanding that LOD be rereleased as a double cd set. And if we can't e-mail the bastiches, we'll make use of the U.S. postal service and send type, handwritten, and shorthand copies of letters stating our demands in French, Spanish, Mandarin, English, and Klingon to make sure they understand whe

re we are comming from.
I also want to flame the bastiches over at Epic. The last 2 IM studio lp's weren't the best they've done, but I didn't see, hear, read, or feel _any_ way shape or form of promotional effort by the Epic bastiches.
I work at a radio station and read the Industry newspaper, Radio and Records, and I saw promos for all other epic albums comming out at that time, except IM. I am glad to see IM back with Capitol, but hate the shit they had to go through to get back with them. Please let me know if you share my feelings.

what songs have been left off, to your knowledge?
also why doesn't IM get any publicity?
and keep us updated upon your quest for the heads of the record industry.
I'll do my part.

I don't want Maiden to get the publicity that one subscriber seems to
want them to. Why do they need publicity? They are one of the largest
and most popular bands in the world. They don't need to play Metallica
and change the way they do things just to please assholes who wouldn't
give a damn about them unless they were popular on the level of
Fuktallica. The true fans don't want Maiden to be publicized.

UP THE IRONS!!

I can't remember the songs left off right off hand, if someone can please post them, but some
were. A CD can only hold 75 min. of music. LAD has well over 100 min. of music. Epic failed
to place ads for NPFTD and FOTD in the radio industry newspaper Radio and Records. Also,
I spoke to a couple of friends of mine who own record stores and they said they didn't get any
fraggin' promotional shit. And Jason, please send all Bastich heads to :

Loyal fan, I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say. I _don't_ want IM to get publicity
with the masses, just the record stores. If record store owners don't get promos from the record
co., they are less apt to order that recording, or will order it in smaller numbers. If you question
the level of my fandom, Loyal Maiden fan since 1984. . . and counting. I _never_ want to see IM change,
only that Record Co. Bastiches give 'em the respect they deserve by promoting the albums as much
as they should be to store owners, not on TV and radio. This is not a flame, just a clarification,
but _please_, let's not try to define a _true_ IM fan. As the fave song and fave album polls show,
we all are different in our IM tastes.

Hmm...if they would get more publicity, they would probably play in the
Feyenoord-stadium (a football stadium) when they are in holland, and
the LAST thing I want to do is go to a concert in a football-stadium!
(take a seat and get out your binoculars...great)

hmmmm..and when they would be really popular, you'd see little kids
with their dads, all waering IM shirts, cause the kids wanna look
tough, and the dads wanna 'show' that they are still young and tough..
(unsuccessfully)

Dont know how it is in other countries, but here, just look at what
publicity did to guns n[cencored!]...

oh well..
