I'm a bit miffed that maiden are playing 7/8 of the new album. When I go
& see maiden, I'm usually there to see & listen & shout along with the
classics. New songs - okay, but they're not really what I'm there for.
Surely, it'd be much better for the crowd if they did say 4 or 5 new
songs, and then performed a cracking classic performance, so everyone
went home 200% happy...knackerd & sweaty!

just my opinion, what do others think?

Actually, I saw a video with Blaze singing some of the maiden Classics, and
well, he stands there doing a Glen Danzig imitation (he does the whole
concert this way) and sings like a mix between Dracula and Gomer Pyle. As
far as the new stuff (X-Factor, it was) he did a decent, at best, job. But
he needs to work on his range.

I think the fact that the classic setlist hasn't changed much in 8 years
is the *real* let down.

Actually it has. For U.S. fans, they have been doing more of
the old stuff which is freaking cool.
