I have just recently started listening to Maiden and I really like
them. So naturally, I want to purchase some of their albums. The only
problem is that I can only find The X-Factor and Virtual XI. Are older
Maiden albums like Powerslave and Number of the Beast hard to find in
the U.S.?

Thanks
Jason

They are currently out of print, but they will be coming back into print,
remastered, sometime soon. Whether that means early summer or late fall or
whenever, I don't know exactly. If you must have their stuff now, try
Vintage Vinyl, www.vvinyl.com, as they have a pretty extensive collection of
import (and possibly domestic leftover) Iron Maiden CD's.

If you are looking in your local, run of the mill mall record store, they
usually only carry the most recent titles, but if you go to a well stocked
outlet, you should find most of the albums no problem.

Another thought, in addition to those here...is if you gotta have them
now...check out a local used CD store. They are usually cheap, and some
yutz is bound to get rid of some of the classic albums. Anyways...it'll
hold you over until they re-release the albums!

No, they are not hard to find. I am actually surprized you're having any
difficulty at all! You should check out some of the larger department
stores, and if you don't see any, a record store can order them for you.
