Who's the best band to open for Maiden??

I've been to 3 Maiden concerts (POM, P, SSOASS) and I have to say that my
favorite opener was in '85 with Queensryche. Unbelievable opener. I only wish
I could remember more, but from what I do, that night 3/23/85, is one that
I'll never forget. QR was just beginning to hit it big, but I was truly blown
away when I heard their first EP the year before. To see them live at that
point with MAIDEN of all groups, was awesome. The grand spectacle of the
whole thing was something to cherish What is your favorite opener for

I wish I could have seen Helloween open for Maiden(I can dream...I'm from
Québec,Canada)...
But I would say DIO with Maiden was an incredible and unforgettable show!!!
...And it goes on and on and on,heaven and hell!

I liked this last tour w/ Dio opening for them. Was like
being transported back to the mid-80's!
