members of Neurosis and Tribes of Neurot have formed an independent record
company aptly dubbed Neurot Recordings - the label will reissue out-of-print
Neurosis titles as well as, in Von Till's words, "release music from an
extended community of artists we feel share a musical and spiritual kinship"

Piet has hired an additional guitarist who goes by the name of Piesel - the
axeman is a long-time guitar roadie and recently filled in for Gamma Ray's
Dirk Schlächter at a show in Mexico - Iron Savior will now be touting a
three-guitar attack a la Iron Maiden

former Dimmu Borgir drummer, Tjodalv's band has reportedly signed a

The Guinness Book of Records 2001 has officially crowned Brutal Truth's
video for "Collateral Damage" The Shortest Music Video ever - the video
clip, produced in 1994, is a record-breaking 2.18 seconds-long - the video

THE OBSESSED
on October 10, Tolotta Records will be re-releasing the legendary The
Obsessed album - originally recorded in 1984, but not released until 1989,
