AC/DC Australia's Family Jewels will include costumes, original instruments,
hand-written letters, notebooks and lyrics, stage props and rarely seen live
footage.
AC/DC have sold more than 200 million albums worldwide since 1975 and
continue to perform and record to great acclaim, ranking highly on all
popular surveys of great Rock'n'Roll acts. Half way through their current
world tour, AC/DC have already played to over 1.7 million fans in North
America and Europe.
AC/DC Australia's Family Jewels is the fifth exhibition in the Arts Centre's
Icon Exhibition Series, a program that celebrates the achievements of
Australia's iconic and internationally renowned performing artists. Over the
past four years this program has been an outstanding success raising the
profile of the Arts Centre to a local, national and international audience
with Kylie: A Free Exhibition, Ednaville: An Historic Home, Nick Cave: The
Exhibition and Peter Allen: The Exhibition

As part of the opening week celebrations of the exhibition AC/DC Australia's
Family Jewels, the Arts Centre forecourt will kick into action with free
entertainment featuring a line-up of oz rocks biggest voices and loudest
guitars playing some of AC/DC's biggest hits.
