I know a lot of guys do not like Airbourne. For those that do not
like their music, please ignore this message. But, I know there are
some here that do enjoy their music, so I decided to post this info...

The band’s second album...No Guts, No Glory...is due for release on
February 22. It was written in a disused Antipodean pub that the band
all used to work in and had their first gig at. Recording took place
in Chicago with Johnny K at the production helm and the result is
currently being mixed by Mike Fraser at Warehouse Studios in
Vancouver. When asked what the record is about, Joel O’Keefe, the
band’s gregarious frontman, laughs. “It’s about rock ‘n’ roll, women,
fighting, and drinking!”

I'm realy looking forward to this one, and going to see them in Oslo in
March.
They impressed me big time one year ago in Oslo Spektrum, warming up for
Motorhead.
Lemmy and co. was in fact boring after that!
I also think that involving Fraser and the Warehouse studios in the mixing,
is a good thing!

The only problem I have with Airbourne is that they can't really carry
the vocals Live ... but on the other hand they compensate for it by
putting on one hell of a show.

I agree...

When I saw them at the Northstar bar in Philly awhile back, O'Keefe
sounded really good. But, when I watched the Wacken show, it was like
a complete reversal.

Maybe if he didn't drink Jack Daniels during every show he would not
have this problem.
