Glenn Beck is far more interesting than any commentator the liberals
promote. Is that why the left is trying to shut him up?
Limbaugh and Beck are successful because they are also entertaining. Some
feel that leftists have no sense of humor. I won't go that far, however.
Let's just say that leftists have an overly-sensitive sense of outrage.

Shut him up?! I want MORE people to experience his conservative
"wisdom." That's why I led you to this gem. Stay tuned, there will be an

What I find amusing is some poster's attempts to label Beck a "republican".
Beck clearly self-identifies as a libertarian. He has stated he is a
libertarian on several occasions when I've caught his show.
But then, some posters here also identify themselves as libertarians. Maybe
they don't like being associated with a "kook" like Beck, and thus, attempt
to re-label him as a "republican".

Agreed that Limbaugh is simply a comedian, but Beck is just too weird
to be entertaining. He is, however, an excellent negative indicator
being wrong on almost every issue. I'd like to think he does that on
purpose simply to sell books, but judging from his life history of bad
choices, I kind of think he just has too many crossed wires.

While an administration official told ABC News that controversial White
House official Van Jones's signature on a 2004 petition suggesting that the
Bush administration let 9/11 happen in order to justify war was because he
did not carefully review the language in the petition, another link between
Jones and the Truther movement has emerged.
This is becoming problematic for the Obama administration, which spent much
time and energy belittling the fringe "Birther" movement of those alleging,
despite myriad evidence, that President Obama was not born in the U.S.
Jones said in a statement yesterday that he did not agree with the 2004
Truther petition and it "does not reflect my views now or ever."
But in March 2002, a march in San Francisco was called to demand a
congressional inquiry into 9/11. Jones was on the "organizing committee."
Stating that the 9/11"attacks are used to justify the bombing of
Afghanistan, the administration is clearly more interested in controlling
the oil resources of Central Asia than in 'ridding the world of terrorism or
terrorists' which it has funded, trained, and used for decades through the
C.I.A.," the marchers said they would "demand" answers to questions such as:
"What is the relationship between Bin Laden, his family and the Bush family
and the Carlyle Group?
"Why were no fighter planes dispatched to intercept the four hijacked planes
on September 11th, in violation of standard procedures?
"Who actually was in control of the 'hijacked planes'? �
"Did the CIA have foreknowledge of the attack, who tried to profit with put
options on American, United, Merrill Lynch stock just before the attack?...
"What are Bush's and Cheney's connections to the drug industry?
"Why is the evidence being destroyed when an investigation of the World
Trade Center collapse is needed?"
The White House had no immediate comment.

I would say the guy is entitled to his beliefs. This is America, after all.
What I find more disturbing is how the President of the United States seems
to have a history of surrounding himself and cultivating long-term
relationships with these whackjobs... Rev. Wright, Bill Ayers, Van Jones,
etc.

and the Bad guys, the guys with black hats, are called
"Lords"? I always wondered that.
Drug Lord = bad guy, evil criminal, killer, raper, maimer.
Drug Tsar = good guy, government hack in position of power.
Use to be the Lord was a good guy in a white robe and
the Tsar was a Russia despot, evil ruler, etc., the
opposite.
Now we have a black guy, metaphorically in a black hat,
being called a Green Tsar (Czar) and he's supposed to be
doing a good thing for the world. I mean, green has
become a good thing... right? It doesn't just mean the
color any longer, it means cleaning up the nasty stuff
we've done to the planet and saving our environment and
all. Shouldn't he have a green hat and give him a new
name? Emperor maybe. Yeah, That's it! Emperor Jones, the
Green Giant!
This is all so stupid!

Jones' resignation puts focus on criticism of Obama's 'czars'

Jones resigned early Saturday after an onslaught of criticism aimed at his
past statements and affiliations.
In 2004, Jones signed a petition that called for an investigation of whether
government officials allowed the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
In a statement last week, Jones said of the petition on the Web site
911truth.org: "I do not agree with this statement and it certainly does not
reflect my views now or ever."
Jones had not carefully reviewed the language in the petition before

As to whether the president ordered the resignation, White House adviser
David Axelrod said "absolutely not. This was Van Jones' own decision."
White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said that Obama accepted Jones'
resignation because "the agenda of this president was bigger than any one
individual."
"The president thanks Van Jones for his service in the first eight months,
and helping to coordinate renewable energy jobs that are going to lay the
foundation for our future economic growth," he said.
Jones, in a statement, said he did not want to distract from the
administration's agenda.
"I cannot in good conscience ask my colleagues to expend precious time and
energy defending or explaining my past," he said.
