Incidentally, the Washington post reports that USA unemployment is now
10.2%-a 26 year high.

The petition to impeach Obama now has more than 100,000 signatures.

And of course, Mr. Obama inherited none of the problems that led to this....

> The petition to impeach Obama now has more than 100,000 signatures.

And how many of them are from unique individuals?

The "articles of impeachment" you are referring to are worthlessly vague.
Either there's a specific charge, or there isn't, and those "articles" don't
have one.

Where did you get the hundred thousand figure, Joe?

Here's what the internet has to say about the company which floated

That's some institute you got there, Joe. One employee. The owner is
the one employee, right? Come on, Joe, where did you get the 100,000
signatures bullshit? The guy is a PR wannabe. You're dumber than
owlshit. Anyone can hire a one man PR wannabe to hoke up and post an
incompetent petition. And besides, petitions have no legal
significance whatever. They're just rants.

=====

It's actually most likely the work of one Floyd Brown, most recently known
for working with the most-likely-to-be-soon-disbarred-for-incompetence Orly
Taitz.

And you're right in several ways - the petition is meaningless. The number
is completely unverifiable, and the "articles" are written by an
incompetent.

The "Institute" is definitely connected Brown. Here's what is said of
him:

Quotes About Floyd Brown

Time (magazine): “Brown has stature among devoted conservatives that
almost matches his physical heft (6 ft. 6 in. and 240 lbs.)”[8]

Salon.com magazine: "He has given conservatism a rank smell for two
decades --and if there is a racist odor to the coming general election
campaign, it is likely to emanate from his vicinity." (April 25,
2008)

Mary Matalin: "I'm not a big fan of Floyd Brown...He gave us the
Willie Horton ads that the Republican Party has had to eat for two
election cycles now."[49]

USA Today: "[Brown has] established himself as one of the nation's
dirtiest political strategists." [50]

George Stephanopoulos: "Floyd Brown is a slimy thug for hire." [51]

Bad company, Joe.

You're known by those you use to promote your own views. You are a
Floyd Brown if he has become a pillar for your world view, if you
would rather give someone like him the benefit of the doubt than an
American President which you can not criticize legitimately. I used to
think you were a decent fellow, Joe. I know better now. Your posts in
the last few months have been those of a redneck rightist, not those
of an officer and a gentleman.

No, just demanding his impeachment and trial in the highest political
court in the land, the U.S. Senate for alleged high crimes-- and doing
it on false pretences, knowingly false pretenses. You're an educated
man, Joe, a professional and a former U.S. Naval Officer. What has
happened which resulted in you sinking so far?

nevertheless gorgeous text.
