That still a very low number spread over many years of marketing.

Trolls employed by micoshaft and appil crap
are having a hard time explaining this to the retailers!

Linux sells 14 million copies PER DAY
installed in huge numbers of gadgets and would pass it
in 32 days.

90% of all important consumer goods sold be electronics
goods retailers contain Linux.

All flat TVs, printers, ipwebcams, routers, set top boxes,
MP3, MP4, MP5 players, HD recorders, DVD recorders, DVD players,
Android phones and tablets, NAS, media streamers, satnavs, digital
photoframes, wireless routers, etc.
The engineers who release source code under FSF's GPL for free ask only
that you use it as often as possible. They make their money from supporting
and extending GPL'd software.

Electronics retailers should do an inventory check and
find they make make most of their money with Linux
and can make even more money by going out there are specifying
even more Linux in all their gadgets. Does your fridge have an IP webcam?
No? Ask Linux engineers to put in a webcam and it gets done for about $20
because the software and developer systems are free which means the gadget
get built at a lower cost than any other competing solution, which means
more features to differentiate your value products and make more money
with Linux!!
If you are a retailer, the more ideas you have, the more Linux thrives
to quickly service it, turning it into product and make more money for you.

Reserving excessive shelf space for micoshaft and appil, or believing
their marketing trolls is not going
to make anywhere near as much money because they take the lion's share
of the profit and empty customer's wallets with expensive goods
that's going to rob you of your chance at even greater net sales and profit.

Customers are not coming back if they felt they got ripped off
trying to feed micoshaft and appil and they blame your store for
their empty wallet!

Linux gadgets much cheaper and higher margins.
So going flat out selling Linux gadgets and focusing on getting in more
Linux gadgets to sell is a lot better than pandering to micoshaft and appil.

No one is employed by MS or Apple you idiot. Fool, those retailers
hardly know that Linux even exist nor do they care.
