Job Description:
*Focus on ERP (to cover ERP application changes to support specific business needs, and/or deployment of SAP to additional sites).

Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities of this position are related to the management of solutions delivered and utilized within the Client organization. Some of the specific responsibilities of this role include:
* Managing all program suppliers to deliver on time, on budget, according to defined quality criteria and according to the Client Project Delivery Process
* Directly accountable for the successful deployment of this program (quality, cost, milestones, customer satisfaction)
* Operating as primary point of contact with vendors for day-to-day interactions on solution delivery
* Working in close collaboration with business team leadership and supplier leadership to ensure success of the program
* Assess and verify solution designs for cost, timing and milestone commitments
* Ensuring compliance and utilization of project management process
* Owning resolution of project issues, working with IT Executives, Enterprise Architecture, Business project leads, and Supply/Vendor Management teams as necessary
* Coordination and/or support of systems retirements associated with solution implementation
* Ensuring compliance with release management and change management practices
* Providing progress report to Client Senior Management
* Manage program budget, ensuring that program completes on or below budget
Work Experience & Educational Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in the field of computer science, engineering, or equivalent
* PMP certified
* 10 years relevant work experience, with at least 5 years in a IT program manager role
Position requires advanced knowledge which is predominantly intellectual in nature and requires the consistent exercise of discretion and judgment.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of technology projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Ensures that project goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives. Is responsible for managing the team that develops and carries out internal IT projects. Follow Client's Project Management methodology. Review project proposal to determine time frame, funding limitations, staffing requirements, and allotment of available departmental resources to various phases of project. Establish work plan and staffing for each phase of project. Formulate and define technical scope and objectives of project. Collaborate with project staff to outline work plan. Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks. Assign duties and responsibilities to project personnel. Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget. Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required. Use Client's standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation. Prepare project reports for management, client, and/or others. Coordinate project activities with activities of business unit(s). Coordinate and respond to requests for changes from original specifications. Develop quality assurance test plans.
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate staff to apply skills and techniques to solve dynamic problems. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Experience Required
Extensive project management experience. Demonstrated program management experience. Broad-based information systems and business experience; experience in software engineering involving development and testing of applications. Technical management exp.
Education Required
PMP Certification Required
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other scientific discipline; a specialization in Management Information Systems preferred. Advanced degrees are desirable.
