NJ Family Medieval and Fantasy Festival
Long Valley, NJ - The "NJ Family Medieval & Fantasy Festival" returns to the
area on Saturday, June 9 from 10am-5pm and on Sunday, June 10 from 12-7pm
at St. Mark's Church Concert Field, 59 Spring Lane, Long Valley, NJ.
This year's Festival features live music and games for the children as well
as historical re-enactments, strolling performers, costumed characters,
scavenger hunts, poetry contest, prince/princess costume contest, hand-made
arts and crafts merchants, and food vendors.
Some of the Festival's guest artists include top Welsh musician, Jodee James
with Arlene Muzyka; Celtic guitarist, Jeff Kalmar; and 10 year old child
prodigy harpist, Violetta Norrie.. Vocal talent Brenadette Acuria will be
making her first public appearance with local guitarist Robert Reyes. The
Chinese Historical Swordmanship Society and Association for Renaissance
Martial Artists (ARMA) with thrill patrons with sword demonstrations. Scifi
and Fantasy writer Trish Reynolds will be on site to sign her latest book,
plus much more!
No carry-in food or beverages, or pets are allowed inside the festival area.
Patrons are encouraged to come in costume but must have all related props or
weapons peace tied, or those items will be removed prior to entry and
returned upon departure.
Admission at the Gate is $12 per adult. Children age 5 -12 are $8; under
