THE LAW
by Pastor Bob Hallstrom

As we look around us and see all the problems in the world, and especially the
problems in our own government, we have to ask ourselves what went wrong? How
could the most prosperous country in history become so unproductive? By that I
mean we now import more than we export.

Going back to the early days of our history we find that in New Haven,
Connecticut, on April 3, 1664:

"It was ordered that the judicial laws of God, as they were delivered by Moses
. . be a rule of the courts in this jurisdiction in their proceedings against
offenders."

Yes, no other country in the history of mankind began its existence by
declaring the laws of God to be the law of the land. That is with one
exception. Remember, it was Moses that led the Children of Israel out of Egypt
to Mount Sinai where they received directly from God, the laws of God. These
laws were not simply ecclesiastical laws -- they included political laws,
economic laws, family laws, and all social laws. The laws of God were all
inclusive for Israel and no other laws were needed, then or now. It was the
mission of Israel to extend these laws to all of mankind.

God actually established His kingdom on earth with the creation of Adam and
Eve in the Garden of Eden. He re-established it with Abraham, Isaac, and
Jacob, and finally with Israel at Mount Sinai.

God's mandate to Adam was the same as given to Israel. The mission was to
"subdue" the earth, and have "dominion" over it. This mission was to be
accomplished under God's direction and according to His word, which was, and
still is His law.

This law has not been annulled by Christ. While man's justification is by the
grace of Christ, our sanctification is by the means of the law. However, today
Christians have become so spiritually minded that they are no earthly good.
What they fail to understand is that in being spiritually minded the mandate
is still to apply the laws of Scripture to this world.

The breakdown of God's law and order that we have been experiencing from 1664
to the present, must be blamed squarely on the clergy of this country and
their antinomian, or anti-law doctrine. And if the clergy fail to understand
the need to observe God's laws, then we cannot expect the people to follow
God's laws.

Folks, we need to understand that the source of all law is religious in
nature, and that the source of that law is the God of that people. This is
easy to see and understand when we look at Israel, for the living God of
Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, later called Israel, was the God of the nation of
Israel and the source of their law given to them at mount Sinai. Therefore,
Israel's law was a religious law.

But, what about the law of other nations? Of course, we know about Baal and
like gods, but the laws of those gods were issued by the rulers of those
countries through their high priests.

But who do you suppose made the laws of the Roman Empire if not Caesar? Were
not all the Caesars considered as gods? So the god of most nations were their
kings, who were the source of their laws. Thus we can conclude that if the
source of law is found in an oligarchy, a court, a senate, or even reason,
then that source is the god of that system.

Greek law was a religious concept based upon the mind. The mind was seen as
being capable of discovering law out of its own resources, and this is the
mother of modern Humanism. However, modern humanism locates law in the state
or the people and thus the state or the people collectively are the god of the
system.

While the original source of our law in the United States was from God, the
source of our law has steadily moved from God to the state. This means that
since the source of our law is in change from the Biblical laws of God to the
state, our god is changing from God Almighty to the state and it is only a
matter of time before the transition is complete.

Keep in mind now that it is an axiom that when you change the source of law,
you change your religion. Probably the best example of this lies in the
conquest of the Southern Hemisphere by the Spanish. All who did not covert to
Spanish Christianity were killed by the sword, and in this manner, conquest
changed both the law and the religion of those conquered.

This brings us face to face with the fact that every system of law must
maintain its existence by whatever means necessary, because no system of law
can tolerate a foreign religion. The reason this is true is because if a
foreign system of law becomes dominant within a society, then the old law will
perish and the law of the new religion will prevail. Again, the most drastic
example of this took place by the Spanish in their conquests.

But the change in law and religion does not always happen as quickly as
transpired with the Spanish conquests. What would happen if a different law
was introduced in small doses over time? Then the change of law and religion
might not even be noticeable to the majority of people.

This is exactly what is happening in the United states. The religion we call
Christianity has been driven out of the schools and replaced with Humanism,
and our children are being fed large doses of Humanism and they are the ones
who will be the lawmakers of tomorrow. And as good Humanist lawmakers, they
will pass more Humanistic laws which will eventually eliminate Christianity as
the religion of this country, and it will be replaced with Humanism.

The law of God was and is the revelation of God to His people. It was given at
Mount Sinai and was accepted by all the people of Israel; thus God's law was
established by a perpetual Covenant that will not be broken by God. Israel may
break the covenant by not keeping the law, but God will have His covenant with
His Israel people and this is the reason we have the New Covenant found in
Hebrews 8:8-10, which states:

8 "... Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant
with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: 9 Not according to the
covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the
hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my
covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. 10 For this is the covenant
that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I
will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will
be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

It is plain from Hebrews that the New Covenant was not made with the church
but was a covenant re-made with the descendants of Israel, here identified to
us as the house of Israel.

What had happened was that Judaism had become the law of the land, and in
Judaism the law is a mediator between God and man, but Christ rejected this
and Himself became the mediator between God and man, and He sealed this new
covenant relationship with His blood.

Now this did not destroy the laws of God but rather fulfilled them.
Henceforth, we are saved by the grace of God, and the purpose of Grace was not
to set aside the laws of God but to enable man to keep the laws of God.

Whether you like it or not, as believers we have accepted the laws of God and
reacknowledge them every time we participate in the Lord's supper, or what is
called the Eucharist. At the last supper Christ stated in Matthew 26:28:

"For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the
remission of sins."

And what comes with the new covenant but the same laws of God that were given
back at mount Sinai. Remember now in Hebrews 8:10, we are told of the
reestablishment of God's laws when we are told:

"I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts:"

Thus the laws of God are paramount to the new covenant relationship, as we
have seen in Hebrews 8. Therefore there can be no such thing as lawless
Christianity, for that is a contradiction of terms. If you are a Christian and
have partaken of the blood of Christ, you have accepted the conditions of the
New Covenant just as surely as the Israelites did at mount Sinai.

The blood of Christ was shed for the "remission of sin," or more appropriately
it saved us from the penalty of sin, that penalty being death. And through the
death and resurrection of Christ, we know that we too will be resurrected from
the dead or transformed at His coming.

But we also know that there is a coming judgement and now I must ask, if God's
laws are nailed to the cross, where are universal standards by which all shall
be judged? Is not sin defined by the apostle John as "transgression of the
law?" And is not what I do as sin also sin if you commit the same act? I
certainly hope so, for if not, then there can be no consistency in judgement
and therefore no justice.

In conclusion, the law of God is a covenant law and the restoration of that
law was the work of Christ. This restoration was His grace to His covenant
Israel people, who we today identify as the Anglo-Saxon, Celtic, and kindred
peoples. And the fulfillment of the New Covenant is the great commission to
subdue the earth and have dominion over it, through Christ Jesus.

I might add that those who do not abide by, or break this covenant
relationship with Christ, do so at their own peril.

Ho hum. "Phinehas", who wouldn't know the bible if it spit on him,
continues to post drivel from fellow racists.

As always, bear in mind: "Phinehas" has declared that Christians
should kill the Jews. Every last man, woman, and infant in arms.
All his other posts are just part of one long elaborate excuse. On
the day when he's caught with the blood of infants still dripping from
his hands, he wants to be able to grin and say, "God made me do it."

God does not countenance murder, "Phinehas". Learn that.

Hardly. Israel got six hundred plus laws. Adam got a couple verses of
general instruction.

Ah hah. For no particular reason, Identity "Christians" invented the
fiction that only white people are descended from Adam. They conclude
that whites should have non-whites as slaves. This they call "dominion".

However, the Bible says that *all* human beings are descended from Adam.
If only they'd bother to read the Bible...

Justification by grace, not law, check. "For by the law shall no man
be justified."

Sanctification by the law - oops. Nowhere to be found in the bible.
Oh, but then, these are Identity "Christians". Their only bible is
Mein Kampf, so how would they know?

Hebrews uses this language about "house of Judah" and "house of Israel"
because it is quoting Jeremiah. Jeremiah was unaware of God's secret
plan, which was not disclosed until the coming of Christ, that Israel
would be expanded to include all the non-Israelites who believed in
Jesus.

No, it is plain from Hebrews that Jeremiah, whom it quotes, expected the
covenant to be re-made with the physical descendants of Israel. Jeremiah
did not understand how big a deal the New Covenant was going to become.

Romans 16:25-26. "...the revelation of the mystery, which was kept
secret since the world began, but __now__ is made manifest, according
to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to __all nations__
for the obedience of faith"

Utterly false. Romans 7:6. "But now we are delivered from the law,
that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness
of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter."

The laws written on the heart in the New Covenant are not the "oldness
of the letter". They are not the laws of Moses. They are the living
laws of Christ: Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and all thy
soul, and all thy strength. Love thy neighbor as thyself. Love one another
as I have loved you. -- That's the lot.

The restoration of sinners was the work of Christ. The fulfillment of the
law was the work of Christ. And the power of the law died on the cross,
with the power of sin. Read Luther. Read Calvin. Better yet --- for
a change of pace in your life -- read the Bible.

> This restoration was His grace to His covenant
> Israel people, who we today identify as the Anglo-Saxon, Celtic, and kindred

Right, *you* identify. But that doesn't matter. What matters is
who *God* identifies as His covenant people.

Remember Romans 16? "ALL NATIONS". The Bible is explicit about that.
(If you ever care to put down Mein Kampf and read the Bible, you'll
find out.) The Bible doesn't say a single word about "the Anglo-Saxon"
or "the Celtic".
