Not true; Odin neither died nor descended into Hel. He impaled Himself on a
tree to learn the secrets of the runes, which He then shared His followers.
On the other hand, the Zorastrians (originally) of Persia do have a crucified
god who died; I'm not sure if he was resurrected, though. Perhaps someone
could tell us?

I missed the origional posting, and so was unable to corect the
origionals miscomprehension, but I think the origional poster confuses
Zorastrianisum with the Late Roman cult of Mithras which is of Persian
origin and in its Romanised form included a resurected devine figure as
well as some elements of the cosmic duelisum of the Sassanian form of
Zorastrianisum as does many other belief systems which entered the Roman
world from easten world. This Mithraic cult also includes similar
elements to the equily popular solar cults of Helios and Sol Invicta.
Solar cults quite oftain have a death and resurection theame.
I would like to inform the origional poster that there is no resurected
god in Zorastrainisum indeed while it traditionaly acnowledges the
existance of other gods or at least there followers, Zorastrianisum
considers that Ahura Mazda is the creator and alone worthy of our
alegence.
I would however agree with the origional poster and externd his point
that Christianity is posesed of very litle which is origional or unique
in terms of its belief systems.
Best regards all
