My, my, look at all the STUFF for sale, most or all of it of which
will allegedly help a person do magick.
Unfortunately, all it really does is allow people to play the role
of magicians (witches, sorcerers, etc.). But all the STUFF makes
it easy for people to convince themselves and others that they
are the real thing. Who else but a real magician would have
all that neat stuff?
No need to wonder what one of the main reasons that useless
and inert ritual magick is promoted all over the Web by supposed
magickal experts.
What they really are are MERCHANTS, and theatrical pseudo-
magick sells STUFF.
The simple truth, that magick requires nothing but one's own
consciousness, doesn't sell stuff, so they aren't going to
promote it. They'd much rather teach nonsense and make
the bucks than enlighten and empower people.
Besides, learning real magick requires solitude and discipline
and most people would rather just play the role and pretend
they are the real thing. It works as long as you are hanging
out with other people who are similarly deluded.
Of course, most of them probably don't know the truth about
magick, so I could be being unfair.
But what they all know, unless they are mentally ill, is that
the theatrical woo-woo they call magick doesn't work.
