The answer to that question is simple: What you have are people
who cling to the Scientific/Darwinist worldview and are trying to
make magick fit into it somehow, when this is simply impossible.
Science does not allow for existence of Magick.
So you end up with this weird idea that Magick is some kind of
invisible machine that one can learn to push the right buttons
on. Something seperate from the self and even seperate from
Nature. An extra-dimensional machine that Science just hasn't
discovered yet.
But the fact is that Magick is how the universe works. It is the
_real_ science. We _are_ Magickal beings and we are a part of a
Magickal universe.
We are such amazing Magickians that we have managed to create an
'objective' reality in which Magick does not seem to exist.
Sid
Speak for yourself Sid. Science never will discover it. We are elite
starseeds. I use to think you might be one with us, but, not any more.
This betrays the fact that neither Sid nor Aine have a clue what
magick is. They are referring to "story book magic". That mistake is
why the spelling with a "k" was adopted in the first place. The proper
description of magick is on the cover plate of the Equinox Series. At
least it is on my second edition. The description given by the
individual who coined the word with a "k" is: "The Aim of Religion ~
The Method of Science". Magick by its very definition is science. If
an effect cannot repeated and method established SCIENTIFICALLY it is
NOT magick.
