Just ask me what ritual or spell you want to perform and I'll tell you
what I know. It will be nice to keep it here on the newsgroup so that
others can argue with me and you can get some good diverse advice on
it.

Just as my website advises, I like to field all questions on this
newsgroup. If they are personal questions, I always change the name of
the requester or don't even mention a name.

He wants to talk to someone who know something about magick, not
a charlatan who only "knows" what anyone could find out in a couple
of minutes using google.

The theatrical nonsense you call 'magick' doesn't work at all.

If it did I'd be dead. You've threatened to kill me with your
supposed magickal skills a dozen times.

And to prepare myself for your deadly magickal assaults, I've
made some popcorn and turned on the boob tube.

Stick with waiting on tables, Ren.

Sid

Gee. You'd think an advanced magician like you would be able to

Well the spell I was thinking of is one to attract love. Not to cast a love
spell on anyone to control them. As I said they are lots of spellkits on
eBay but after discussing this with people I have realised it's best that
your spells involve a personal touch. But I could use advice.

There's nothing more natural and simple than sexual love (which is,
I assume, what you are talking about).

So if you don't have it, you are blocking it with a spell or spells
that you are already maintaining, cast long ago, probably unwittingly.
Probably a 'gift' from society or a parent.

Do you believe that life is good? That you are a worthy and deserving
person?

The opposite of those spells would two common obstacles to a happy
life in general, of which romantic love is a necessary part for most
people.

This is where the most important part of spellwork comes into play:
Reading the spells you are already maintaining. Reading your own
conscious mind. It takes serious honesty.

I do hope you are following me. If you read those articles I gave
you the links to, carefully, you probably can.

Now I leave you to the useless theatrical woo-woo that Ren will
come up with for you.

The best way to bring love into your life, by-the-way, is to
love someone...Do unto others...

Whoa.. Each one of us is a person deserving. We each do not have to
down play our needs because others are hurting. We do not deserve less
because others have less.
We each do not have to be responsible for all the problems in the
world. We pick and chooses our charities or what we can do based on if
we can or are in the position to.

You are a braggart. What you do for others you do to brag about
yourself. There is nothing honorable in that.

Why would anyone hate Wicca? I represent REAL magick that is distorted
by those here who pretend to be Wiccan. No one who can REALLY work
magick would even think to do so for a selfish reason. For one to
ignore suffering is reprehensible. It is a thousand times more
reprehensible for one who has magick ability to use it to serve self
when a world needs. This is one of the fundamental principles of REAL
magick. Any who would have you think otherwise is a scoundrel out to
use you in some way. Those scoundrels would have you think it is Wicca
being challenged rather than the criminals themselves. I am married to
Wiccans. They admit that it is flawed and young and the worst it can
be is religion. I have no problem with genuine people not abusing it
by turning to religion or picking the pockets of poor seekers like
your self. You will not find such genuine Wiccans here.

There are no rules. You can use something similar to spells to improve
your life and MAGICK does work. The catch in it all is that by the
time you have mastered it enough to make it work, what you understand
as improvement in your life matures. You become wiser about what life
is and what matters.

Very simple; it is selfish. Magick requires a level of wisdom that is
beyond selfish. There is important work at hand. If one is not wise
enough to bring all power to bear in saving Mother Earth in her
jeopardy, then one simply is not wise enough to even be able to work
magick. In the vernacular ~ first things first ~ if we don’t save the
planet there is no place to shack up and screw. Using magick for
mating is one dimensional thinking. Magick is far from one
dimensional.

Will do soon. It's a bit longish to type out. Basically, you begin three
days prior to the full moon. Speaking of spells, I had an interesting thing
happen tonight. I was doing some work, and my candle literally exploded. Not
as in the votive cracked from the heat, but the damn thing just busted out
into several pieces!

Nah, I wasn't trying to snark.

For some reason, I just caught a mental image of a nude conga

Encouraging Superstition is NEVER harmless. If you don’t swindle the
one you hoodwink, still you have conditioned them to be swindled by
the next scoundrel.

I am in process of documenting one case where a Wiccan sold a poor
woman a love spell. The poor woman did get the man she sought but then
was diagnosed with cancer. When he learned of this he left her. She
went back to the witch for more help. The witch suggested that both
the cancer and losing the love was due to a lack of faith. Naturally,
the witch suggested that more money was required to certify faith. The
bitch bled that woman of money right up until she died of cancer. Now,
whether or not you do this sort of thing yourself, you empower those
who do by spreading superstition.

In contrast, I sell nothing and generate no superstition. I do offer,
entirely for free, lessons in the arts and the suggestion that none
listen to your superstitious lies. One can discover REAL MAJIK through
creativity quite on their own. It eliminates the possibility of being
swindled, empowers the individual, and enriches life on multiple
levels. No man drawn against natural order to a woman will ever stay ~
but likely will, and joyfully, stay with a strong creative woman who
manages on her own without such desperate shenanigans.

“I have to say, that isn't bad advice at all.”

It is more than advice ~ it is a method of evidence. If one like
yourself dabbles in self centered, adolescent spells, you are a phony.
One leaves all that behind before being able to work the first spell.
Kind of a magick “catch 22”.

Dude, WTF??? You dare call ME and others supersticious? Pot, meet kettle.
You seem to be the only one with issues regarding consequences of doing
spellwork. I don't have any supersticions, sorry to disappoint you. Haha! It
even warrants a capital S!!

This sounds like a total crock of shit. Urban legend.
And while there cewrtainly are con artists out there....mainly the taort
reader/fake Gypsy types that need money to remove a "curse" off of you, that
certainly isn't the case here.

The only superstition I see here is some weird delusion that if someone
dares to do magic, they will have harsh consequences bestowed upon them. Do
you avoid sidewalk cracks too?

Oh noes, Seon!!! Don't do any love spells or you will DIE of The Cancer!!!!

Where did it say anything about anyone being charged a thing?? Project much,
dude? If someone that's been a regular poster on this newsgroup, one who has
actively participated and shared ideas and opinions for quite a period of
time, has a request or asks for help with something, I see no wrong in
exchanging information if it's along the lines of what they are looking for.
It's called respect.

You need to seriously relax. If he wants something to help give him a little
"oomph" and assist with chicks noticing him, then no harm, no foul.

Your ethics and moral codes do not apply to everyone else here. If you
disagree with something, fine- then simply don't do it. You're not the boss
of me.

You proselytize superstition. Yes, that is exactly what professionals
call your notions about spells to win love and such crap. Doing so
conditions those you mislead to fall for the scam when the scoundrels
use the same crappy superstition you convinced some poor young lady to
seek out instead of her own inner capacities and strengths.

My method is different. I teach REAL skills ~ like engraving and stone
setting. It empowers one. It provides for one. It makes one strong
enough not to need the silly spell scoundrels would sell. Then I
suggest to my students if they wish to know magick find it in their
own creativity and use it to the benefit of as many as possible.

You have no skill. You have no power. Your only hope to equalize with
others is to pull them down to your own level of abject ignorance.

That's what I'd say maybe mediating before you cast your spell would be a

Auntie, you are a total phony.

“These are your own PERSONAL ethics and opinions. It does not apply

Nothing personal about it ~ it is the general consensus in mental
health fields.

Vocational skills? Metallurgy, stone carving, faceting, and engraving
are integral elements of alchemy and magick, stupid. Working with them
reveals magick today just as it was originally revealed to man in the
basic operations of alchemy. Even the philosophers stone is revealed
in the actual faceting process described in ancient tomes. Doing the
facets leads to a trance state that reveals magick. All of your life
has zip to do with magick. For those who know REAL MAGICK, all of life
is about magick.

Yes, BBDD, they are vocational skills. Mainly crafts that people engage in
as hobbies. The fact that you have to resort to namecalling immediately, and
referring to people as "stupid" if they do not share your personal opinion
on the state of the world speaks volumes about your maturity and
intelligence level.

By the way, the tale of the philosophers stone is a legend. It's not
actually true, do you know that? I really think you've perhaps used too many
hallucinogenic drugs in your lifetime, and it has had an effect on your
brain's ability.
