The night before last I was dozing, on the edge of sleep,
while lying on the bed next to the cat Dorie. Suddenly
I got a dream image of a VERY fat mouse in a cup or
deep bowl. So from that I think I somehow picked
up the image from the cat.

The cat is the same one in an incident in June 1996
when I was quite mentally ill. In that incident
I woke up to feel a flow from my brain to the cat,
as if the cat was mentally sucking on my brain. I'm
not sure now if that was entirely a delusion or
the cat was tapping my dreams, or perhaps the
species someone of cat species was tapping my
brain through its local node, the cat.

I look upon the mouse image as a return of sorts
from the 1996 incident---perhaps it is a sign that
my low years which began early in 1996 are about
to end.
