Lemuria existed, according to believers, in the region know occupied
by the West coast of North America and the Pacific Ocean. It was
another land mass that eventually went blub blub into the sea. This
was supposed to have occured around 50,000 BCE

which man beasts where created, the dragons where dinosaurs.

You'll have to refer to channeled material such as the Urantia Book.

Greetings all,

Well, what a campy subject to show up here!

The world may never know, my friends, what there really was--a race of Space
Settlers who, withtheir advanced technology, built wonders and lived like Gods
and helping primitive men, or if it is just an eroded and mythologized legend
of islands and cultures swallowed by natural disasters.

There is A LOT of info out there on the subject, so much you may be inundated
if you hit the jackpot. Have you tried the Web? There are countless books. Try
pulling out a few more scholarly tomes, complete with research. There are
probably a few Time/Life type series out there, with discussions of
Atlantis-Lemuria-Mu. There have been specials on Discovery channel and the
like, discussing both the myths and evidences, and then there are all the
New-Age teachings about it. The New Age people love Atlantis the way we love
pentagram jewelry. They will have no problem hooking you up with all sorts of
stuff there. In fact, go over to the New Age section on your server, if there
is one. I'm sure the New Age BBS will have plenty more to say than the
Wiccans/Witchy-poos/Pagans.

You might want to walk the road of moderation in listening to the New Agers.
That goes for the Urantia book.

I have one funny piece of trivia for you: in your hand, you may see marked a
large A, L,or M. If you have one, then you are a descendant of either Atlantis,
Lemuria, or Mu. I am clearly from Mu.
(Even funnier still, I have small pentagrams, two of them in each palm, and a
shape in one that can only be a broom.)

Considering how wrinkles get formed in hands, and the tendency towards intersecting
wrinkles, you'd have to be from another planet (or lack the right appendages) *not*
to have something resembling those letters in your palm.

(Next week, Saki disproves phrenology)

Talking about markings on the palm, I figured this might make a good
topic. Not only do I have a pentagram on one of my palms, but I also
find I've got several markings resembling runes. Daeg, Tir, and Gifu
the most common.

Does anyone else have some intriguing markings on the palms of their
hands?

Don't be too disappointed. My left palm has "You are from Atlantis, you silly
thing, what are you doing in front of a computer? Go take over the world!" written
on it.

Well, all you got in *English* was an A. You should check to see if there was
anything written in Oogleboogle.

It depends on where it is on your palm. If it's a smallish marking it's
called a "tassel". If it's at the end of one of the major lines (life,
head, heart, fate, etc.) it indicates dispersion of that energy. So, for
instance, if it's at the end of your heart line you'd be fickle in love.
This wouldn't be the only thing looked at to make that decision, however.

It's very difficult to judge any part of a person based on one marking,
with the following exceptions; The "Ring of Solomon" in conjunction with
the "Mystic Cross" indicates special psychic powers. The cross will appear
in the center of the palm between the head and heart lines. The ring comes
from between the index and middle fingers and runs to between the index
finger and well above the thumb. This line actually forms a half-circle.
Also, make a fist and look at the side of your palm. Between the large
lines made from your little finger and heart line on your palm should be
smallish lines. These show how many children you'll have. Or so my
grandma said. Funny, I've got two. Yep, that's about right. Also, just
below the little finger, on the pad between the heart line and bottom line
of the little finger are fine, vertical lines. Each of those lines
indiciates a love in your life. The deeper the line, the greater the love.
Lot's of fun reading palms, lol. Hey, how come all of you are looking at
your hands? {hehe}

Many Blessings,

Tegan :)

Hi Tegan

The trident flares across my whole hand starting with the v shape at
the bottom of my hand and opening towards my fingers. I will have to
get a book to tell about the heart lines etc. i do not know where they
are on my hand. Although I was looking. Thanks for the neat info and
research you did. ;)

Nope no Oogleboogle. none at all, some time ago a friend who reads palms
told me that the left hand told you what you should be doing with your
life, and the right hand shows what you have actually done,
apparently my palms are extremely similar She told me I had pretty much
followed the promise of my left hand
So I am now determined to go mess it up a bit, (grin) I hate to think
that anything is planned out for me, or that I would follow that plan.

I just asked my hubby what he saw in his left - an M appeared. And he
pointed out a very large calligraphy M on my hand - so i guess Mu is
where we are from.

It is sideways on mine though - does that count? (on the left hand)
the two points face up between my thumb and index fingers.

I wish I could scan my hand.

The lifeline is the one that starts at sort of center of your palm and
makes a sweeping half-circle, ending between your forefinger and thumb.
The head line is the one above that one. It makes a horizontal line across
your palm. The one just above that (also a horizontal line) is the heart
line. Those are the three major lines in a palm. My dad and grandma
taught me to read palms when I was a little girl, but I do have a book I
refer to for some things. ;) Btw, the line that runs up the middle of
your *crow's foot* is called the line of fate. I'm not sure what the other
lines are, and would have to look in my book for those. Btw, the book I
have is called, "The Complete Book of
Palmistry" by Joyce Wilson. It was copywritten in 1971 and published by
Bantam Books, Inc. It's pretty comprehensive, but doesn't include some of
the things I learned from my family like the children and loves in your
life thangs.

Many Blessings,

Tegan :)

That's true about the left and right palms, Shez. Look at a baby's palms.
Really weird, lol. The right one is all squiggly lines and the left one
the lines are true and straight.

Hey - I am either missing a head or a heart line?

Does this mean I am not alive (gasp - see what is life for a very long
thread - maybe i should ask there?)

Is it supposed to be in the right or leg hand? Neither have all three
lines - unless two of them are very heavy / deep, and one is slightly 45
degrees to it. I wish I had a scanner. Darn. Did I say that already.
It must be bed time.

Hybiscsu or soemthing like that - ps write me back if you are still here
tonight - Thanks

Your left hand is your potential in life, your right is what you've done so

lines. I'm starting to wish you had a scanner now too, lol.

My friend was pretty good, and perceptive, and we found that she also
used the hand as a focus as tarot readers use the cards,
I never thought to look at a baby's hand, but one of my group has a baby

My palms do look like a mirror image of each other,

Hi Shez!

She must have been taught the *old* ways of reading if she knew about the
side lines. I've never seen those in a book before. (Someone tell me if
you see that in a book!?) The hands are just easy for me to read.
Probably because I was taught so young. Dunno. There are certain patterns
you look for on the life line that indicate serious illnesses, accidents,
emotional or physical things,
and so on, patterns in the other lines you look for that mean certain
things as well.

This is kinda funny story about palm reading. A couple years ago my
boyfriend and I were going to Endfest (it's a big concert a local radio
station hosts each year up here). We were on the ferry to Bainbridge
Island and I
met this couple sitting next to us. We hung out with them, and rode the
shuttle bus with them to the concert. On the way I read their palms. They
were pretty surprised how much I knew about them from just reading their
palms. {hehe} Anyways, we got to the gate, and I'd lost our tickets!!! I
couldn't believe it, and my boyfriend was NOT amused! Anyways, this couple
knew the guy at the gate, and we just walked right in, no problems. After
that we didn't see them for the rest of the day. In fact, we never saw
them again. My boyfriend later said, "It's good dating the Witch." {hehe}

Many Blessings,

Tegan :)

Well she is quite old, and I don't think she learned from books,

I have short fingers, very practical hands, and she told me short
fingered folk are imaginative, intuitive and very energetic, and of
course practical ( sigh )

People with long fingers are more thinkers than doers, more concerned
with detail less with common sense and tend to be more introverted not
necessarily socially just for most of them their own interior world can
be more interesting than the outside world.

I do remember her saying also that if you have a lot of flesh between
your thumb and your first finger you will always be one of those people
who tend to turn up late, because they get involved in something else,
And sometimes these people can be quite selfish, they forget that other
peoples time is as important as their own. I was really glad I didn't
have that extra skin, But I noticed my Mum douse, (grin )

Its suprising how often that sort of thing happens, and your companions
turn out to be someone who can solve the problem for you, (grin)
Being a witch usually puts you in the right place at the right time when
you need to be their. (grin )

Shez:
I have longer fingers then most men. I also have flesh between my thumb
and finger - I am late often. I will have to get Tegan to tell me if i
abuse other peoples time - I try not to. Ya I thin that you pinned me
down allot. I will not email this to the group - because I want to see
what Teg says about me first.

I am improving on my delayed time - interrupted by other things - really
I am...
