The most important subject is history, always was, always will be.
controlling the knowledge of history amounts to controlling the
present, and therefore the course of the future.
the myths have their root in explaning historical events.
they claim their messiah was sent to "lost tribes." that serves to
reinforce their authority.
the question of where semitic peoples deported circa 721 BCE traveled
following the collapse of the empire doesn't lend an iota of
authenticity to the fraud of the NT.
i.e. it doesn't matter whether or not certain peoples settled in the
Caucasus and then sailed through the Black Sea to Greece or moved
north through the Ukraine, Poland, and then Scandinavia.
Finding evidence of migrations which coincide or follow the
"disappearance" of peoples is exactly the same thing: shooting an
arrow [the historical hypothesis] and then painting the target
["overturn, overturn, overturn" whoops! overturn ...].

And "lost sheep of Yisrael" doesn't mean "lost tribes" anyway.
