scenery of the Lords creation,& people like to see that in their homes
in nice frames..

SD: As devotee's we see the Lords Beauty everywhere,so we keep pics of
our guru, pure devotee's, & the various forms of the Lord in our
homes,so we are reminded of the personality of Godhead & His highly
exalted reps...

SD: The candles were made & still are by devotee house holders in
order to support themselves & work independant of the karmi world's
bosses.. But Puranjana i agree that ISKCON was much more fun & Krsna
dependant when we simply went out on hari nam with BTG's & chanting in
our outfits..

Lord..Even as travelling bramacharis our gasoline was donated..We
would beg for $5 here & there until tanky was full..or so..For bhoga
we would go to the rear of supermarkets for fruits & vegetables &
again there was so much that we had enough to prepeare feasts in the
open parks, hold kirtan,attract people & sell krsna books..etc..Those
were the days..

SD: I always felt that depending on the Lords mercy was less
complicated & much more fun...But as you know many of us became hosue
holders & still are entangled in this way so off to work we went with
paintings,or candles & books ..

try to watch your "crap" & "shit" language Puranjana ..it does nothing
to add to your credibilty..Try to think of other words to use when
these simple images/words come to mind..Its not hard & it will improve

it was like a pen name,which it was..I said they were painted in Korea or
Hong Kong by professional artists..& even that sometimes more than one
artist may work on a painting..In 6/7 years of selling oil paintings I lost
one sale.. which i only vaguely remember.. I may not have.I felt fine about
saying where they were from & sold lots..with nice oak frames...I
strecthed,framed & often hung them myself in the peoples homes..

That is the problem, you are not everyone else. Most of the devotees
selling them in the Bay Area not only lied, they had a bogus
certificate of authenticity. And what about the ladies who were sent
into topless bars to collect money? Thse is you GBC pal's party idea

Srila Prabhupada never taught us to lie to anyone
So we agree ..Things done honestly are ok for house holders etc..Work done
dis honestly is cheating..A devotee is straight forward & honest..Anything
opposed to this is against Srila Prabhupada's instutions for honest life..
Our local non ISKCON temple sells Hari Bars ,which is a ladhu in a bag with
wrapper containing the ingrediants & address of temple.. Along with ladhu
they also sell books of course..This is the temple started by Dhutidhar
swami/maharaj..
Bhakti Marga also visits & stays there ..
The only discrepancy we noticed is when the president sat in the van doing
japa while the others are on the street selling books & bars..on Salt Spring
island..
The president should lead the others by example..on sankirtan & book
distribution
