Ahn, Sahng Hong (died 1985) founded the World Mission
Society Church of God. He was born in South Korea to
Buddhist parents. Founded the World Mission Society Church
of God in 1964. 1948 scholar Ahnsahnghong was baptized.
According to the Church of God, he joined the Seventh-day
Adventist Church in 1947. He renounced Buddhism and was
baptized in 1948.

Regarded by his followers as an accomplished Bible scholar,
Ahnsahnghong is also the author of several books (Visitors
from the Angelic World, The Seal of God and the last
plagues, etc). Throughout the 35 chapters of one book, The
Mystery of God and The Spring of The Water of Life,
Ahnsahnghong examines various Bible passages and gives his
interpretation.
Ahnsahnghong made a number of predictions in his early
books, the most prominent two being his 1967 and 1988
predictions for the Second Coming of Christ. His followers
also claims that Ahnsahnghong predicted his own death 1985
because his body was never found (church of god claims he
went to heaven. The World Mission Society Church of God
claims that Ahnsahnghong was the second coming of Jesus etc.
etc.
His mistress Chung, Gil Cha is revered as the "Mother Jerusalem"

I don't know any official position regarding AhnSahngHong
specifically.

When I was first taught D.P., we were told that in the Last Days,
since Jesus failed his mission, God didn't want the second coming to
end in failure, so instead of calling one Messiah, he called 120.
Rev. Moon said he as the last one remaining.

Perhaps he anticipated AhnSahngHong's death.
Perhaps he mispoke. Instead of dying, the other 119 may simply have
failed.
There may have been more than 120.
All rival claimants to be Messiah are either (1) John the Baptist
figures, or (2) false messiahs.

I've read Autumn Calling and other literature. It is similar to D.P.
teachings and Taoism, in addition to a considerable amount of unique
teachings.

Ich habe keine Ahnung über die sogenannte himmlische Mutter, die
AhnSahngHong gefolgt hat.

OK. Thank You.

I wonder why no official Moon Spokesperson will answer?

Maybe they haven't looked into it? They don't know details. Or they
haven't been given an "official" response??? Or can't relate it to
Divine Principle?

They know about Jung Myung Seok, Woo Myung Shik, but haven't spoken to
my knowledge of AhnSahngHong, Quiboloy, I Kuan Tao, and other new
(since maybe the 1960s or 1980s) messianic figures or religious
leaders believed destined to lead the world to greater peace and
harmony. They focus on long established world religions with large
numbers of adherents, Catholicism with nearly a billion adherents,
Islam with about as many, Buddhism with something in the same
neighborhood. But religions like Mormonism, Jainism, Druze, seem to
be seen as sub-denominations of the greater ones.

Some are singled out for disparagement. Especially if they seem to
have borrowed from Divine Principle or the practices of Rev. Moon.
For example, Jung Myung Seok and Woo Myung Shik are especially
shunned.
