Each of us, knowingly or unknowingly, walks a path through life and as
we do we impact those around us. Some attempt to make this impact as
positive as possible while others seem totally unaware of the results
they cause on others. If you chose to take a path through life that is
spiritual them as a part of the path must come the awareness of others.
All too often the influence of our own ego plays too heavily on what we
do and we become more negative than positive which results in our
walking our path less lightly than we should. As pagans we have chosen
to honor many things and one of those things is the people we are
surrounded by. Pagans are suppose extent peace and understanding to all
which includes even those with whom we disagree or do not share are
point of view. Confrontation and slamming not only affect those who are
targets but also affect us. Negativity from such situations causes an
accumulation of negativity that causes us to lose sight of our path.
This negativity becomes heavy footprints that are outside of our path
and quickly makes it apparent we are not walking on the spiritual path
we have chosen. As pagans we should be inclined to walk softly and with
purpose if we are to reach our goal and that goal should be to seek
enlightenment and internal peace, To merely declare we are Wiccan,
Celtic, shamanic, or on some other path is simply not enough to reach
our goal. No amount of knowledge can substitute or erase the negativity
we create by taking those loud steps outside our path.
