WIKILEAKS PRESS RELEASE
Sunday April 05, 2008
Scientology, a notorious cult that includes Hollywood actors Tom Cruise
and John Travolta as followers, has threatened the transparency group
Wikileaks, demanding that it remove key "unpublished, copyrighted"
Scientology documents from its website which reveal, among other matters,
the cult's belief in a galactic overlord.
The March 27 letter, from the cult's Los Angeles lawyers, Moxon & Kobrin
also asked, in an apparent attempt to trace the source of the materials,
that Wikileaks preserve any related records, "..not limited to, logs,
data entry sheets, applications -- electronic or otherwise, registrations
forms, billings statements or invoices, computer print-outs, disks, hard
drives, etc.". However, Wikileaks site, by design, keeps no logs of its
submissions from whistleblowers, or even of its readers.
The cult's lawyers presented Wikileaks with a list of copyright
registrations for its secret "religious technology" made with the United
States Copyright Office and some examples of international court cases
related to previous successful Scientology attacks on the critics over
its materials. While confirming the long history of Scientology's abuse
of the legal system to suppress material embarrassing to the cult, these
tactics are clearly are aimed at putting pressure on Wikileaks to remove
the content.
The documents, described by Ava Paquette of Moxon & Kobrin, as
"unpublished, copyrighted", are owned by the Religious Technology Center
(RTC), which according to the statement is the owner of "confidential
Advanced Technology of the Scientology religion", and the secret
"bibles" of the cult.
The content, consisting of typed as well as hand-written pages by cult
founder, the late science fiction author and con-man L. Ron Hubbard,
describes OT "levels" I-VIII as well as related "NOTs" and other aspects
of cult dogma and operations. The public is usually introduced to the
cult through its "free stess test" stalls, L. Ron Hubbard's book 1950's
pseudo-science book "Dianetics", or fronts such as NarcAnon and the
Citizens Commission on Human Rights. Cult members are normally thoroughly
indoctrinated before they are introduced to the higher "bibles", such as
"OT-III", which describe all human problems as having being caused by an
evil galactic overlord, Xenu, 75 million years ago. While parts of the
material have appeared in various forms previously, before being
rigorously suppressed by the cult, others are believed to have not
previously appeared.
Wikileaks will not comply with legally abusive requests from Scientology
any more than Wikileaks has complied with similar demands from Swiss
banks, Russian off-shore stem cell centers, former African Kleptocrats,
or the Pentagon. Wikileaks will remain a place where people of the world
may safely expose injustice and corruption. Indeed, in response to the
attempted suppression, Wikileaks will release several thousand pages of
Scientology material next week.

If this isn't another forgery, I must say that the people at wikileaks
seem to be bigotted fanatics like the members of "Anonymous".
And stupid like the members of "Anonymous", too: They should
absolutely be trying to seem to be objective and tolerant and
reasonable, anticipating a trial. Having the jury and judge and
public believe they are prejudiced against the CoS is not going
to help their case at all.
I hope the Church of Scientology sues their asses off and wins.
And that they name the people who supplied the documents.
They are lying about not having records and logs. Guaranteed.
Slimebags like those people ALWAYS keep records and logs
and they ALWAYS lie about it.

The rest of the world is wrong.
Tom is right.
Duh.

INFRINGEMENT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
GOD your idiocy is ABSURD!!
PULL YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR ASS ALREADY.
<plonked for good, I am so sick of reading your pure and utter

Some people seem to forget that not all countries have the same laws.
I'm thinking Wikileaks, having at least ONE server in Sweden, likely
won't have a problem here...lol
Of course not. If they can stand up to the freaking Pentagon, you
think Scilons even make them sweat a LITTLE?
ROFLLLL

LOL! Well, the Scientology crime syndicate's insane Hekena Kobrin and
Ava P. tried this insane shit before and look at what that got them. The
crime syndiacte is SHITTING BLOOD thanks to these insane Scientology
crooks trying to stop the truth. If these insane crooks had just shut
their fucking yaps and not tried to stop people's civil rights, nobody
would care about these once-secret Hubbard insae kook spews. Scientology
would just be another insane flying saucer cult that people ignore.

George W. Bush is a Christian. Time to get over it.

That should read "NarCONon" -- does anyone have technology advanced
enough to contact the people / entity at Wikileaks and have this
mistake corrected quickly?
Yeah, it's the same host. No one including the big studios, US govt,
criminal organizations etc. have managed to take them down
permanently. You would have thought the CoS would have learned their
lesson after trying to have the Tom Cruise video removed.
They told the PENTA-FUCKING-GON to go screw their hat.
Good luck, CoS. Seriously. If you can stop Wikileaks, I will be genuinely
impressed.
I think two things to get extremist official Scientology to stop going
legal:
a) Get some scholars do a history of the Scientology movement's
controversy about the confidential materials, in depth, and in so
doing, just lay out the actual confidential writings that are
generating the controversy, get it published, and see if that makes
official Scientology go beyond legal bluff attack, and see if
Scientology actually sues and it reaches court.
b) If it reaches court, then get for the publisher a large legal firm
to do an all time principled stand and shred this ridiculous
Scienotlogy/Hubbard legal stance! End this petty battle with
official Scientology's extremist following of Hubbard's badly reasoned
argument for keeping confidential materials still confidential. The
freezone seems to get along just fine without suing people over
sharing the confidential scriptures!
To me, the freezone is the example to contrast against official
Scientology/Hubbard's extremist rules!
These extremist rules only benefit the lawyers official Scientology
has to hire to carry out Hubbard's extremist rules.
What a farce Hubbard has left official Scientology.
Hubbard's cautionary reasoning regarding the ill effects of the
"confidential" materials being given to people not ready for the
"confidential" theology, is disproven by freezone Scientologists and
by virtually everyone I've met since leaving the movement!
A legal case involving the publisher of the scholarly paper detailing
the controversy, I think would long range be a suitable arena that
could put a stop to official Scientology's taking the legal option
against publishing the confidential scriptures.
Another more minor solution, why not just piecemeal post the
scriptures, and edit them slightly.
This is my favorite Hubbard "confidential" scripture, and it's NOT yet
taken down! http://tinyurl.com/2fqfyu (I like this one, since it
tells all about the different types and problems with one's "body
thetans".)
