I would'nt say that ; I doubt he gets any case gain since years. I don't
think either he could be blackmailed a lot, unless he had had some relations
with guys or girls, who knows, a bit under 18 when himself was not a lot
over eighteen.
I'd rather think he could stopped by his wife, who does not look of the same
level of intelligence, and is rather brainwashed into the CCHR's stupid
theories regarding psychiatry. Plus the fact that it's not easy to recognize
the criminality of one's pseudo-religion pseudo-psychology after decades.

since the prices of the new services they should take to get the hoped
gains are ever higher, they could suppose that the more they pay, the more
gains they'll get. The reverse is most probably factual!

Nor did Tom Cruise make that offer, I think the dwarf came up with
that delusion in a fit of rage. Cruise probably knows about it,
though, since Marty Rarthbun told Bert Fields about it.

I'm guessing both Travolta and Cruise are in a complete bubble,
resisting every whiff of criticism of Scientology the same way Haggis
did; that Scientology is an underdog, and any criticism of it is an
attack motivated by hatred, ignorance or pettiness. They don't even
consider the criticism.
They both associate the big thing, their extreme success and
confidence, with Scientology. I'm sure that Cruise, for example,
thinks of himself as a righteous crusader to have spoke out boldly,
and any indignity or career tarnish he endured is a battle scar in
this war of planetary clearing and goodness. So, family members can
die, they can get ill, their careers can dip, they can get hassled and
it won't bother them a bit.
I really really wonder, if Fields even told Cruise the detail of what
Marty said Miscavige said Cruise would come in and do. Even if he did,
I bet he regarded it as totally silly even if it were true, but more
likely he trusts Tommy Davis's assessment: "Terrible thing...Marty
went psycho."
I'm not sure that Cruise or Travolta especially, were even informed by
anyone that Miscavige was accused by ex-executives of beating his male
underlings.
Consider ALL that went into Haggis knowing:
The disconnection of his wife from her parents.
Standing up for his gay daughter on gay issues.
Working closely with Duchovny/Beghe on Californication, and Haggis is
MUCH more approachable and accessible than the bubble Cruise/Travolta
are stuck in, where even their closest associates risk their ire if
they say ANYTHING negative about Scientology. Wasn't that the whole
thing with Cruise dumping his former agent, because she warned him
about speaking out too much about his "religion.?"
Imagine how easily Duchovny could strike up a conversation with Haggis
about Scientology issues. "You know, I grew up with Jason Beghe, and
frankly, I didn't get what the whole Scientology thing was about, when
he got into it so heavily, but did you hear that he's out?" "Yeah, and
Cruise is like fair gaming him with a couple of big agents -- blah
blah -- so I'd like to have him on in a couple of episodes." Next
conversation if Haggis opened up a bit, then Duchovny could mention
the SP Times articles, about these top executives leaving, or invite
Beghe to lunch if Haggis was interested.
Plus, Haggis knows that Duchovny is an above board person, and his
dirty laundry was aired, about his compulsion to jerk off on cam slash
sexual compulsive, so that makes Duchovny, who is secure financially
anyway, credible.
Stars are surrounded by people who are trying to manipulate them, to
get something out of them. Travolta and Cruise trust Scientology.
Cruise trusts David Miscavige. I'm not sure Cruise would even believe
it if someone had a video of Miscavige beating someone savagely. He'd
just think, "We'll he must have been attacked and he was just
defending himself."
I was hoping Travolta's nocturnal golf cart rides etc. were a
breakthrough, that needed to be COMBINED with information, and
Travolta and Cruise not only don't get enough information, they are
inoculated against it.
Let's say Cruise read the issue of Freedom that had "the adulteress"
etc. He probably reads it, and thinks, poor disturbed dipshits, if
they didn't want to serve in the Sea Org and make sacrifices, they
should have gotten real jobs, like me.
The only thing that could get Cruise and Travolta's attention would be
major headlines about the cult collapsing, New membership devastated
by information on the web. Miscavige missing, with a lot of money,
Scientology buildings that will never be completed and are being sold
off.
Then if Tommy and Miscavige keep saying, "Doing great, expanding more
than ever..." Cruise and Travolta will have to look at the situation,
and stop their total trust in Miscavige and the Church.
It could be something totally left field, like a Ken Burns documentary
on Hubbard, that gets everyone really talking.
It would help if some bold reporter would ask Cruise what he thinks
about Haggis saying his wife was unfairly disconnected from her
parents, by their Church, and what would he do if the Church
disconnected Katie's parents from her? He wouldn't answer that but it
might plant a seed.
With either of them, if a reporter brings up the gay issue, they will
tune out. If they bring up the issue of confidentiality of records,
well they might take that to mean people are just digging for dirt on
them, and as long as they behave, the Church won't reveal anything
about their records.
There's a wild card in all of this though, that Cruise was audited by
Marty. A reporter could ask: "Tommy Davis called Marty Rathbun, your
former auditor, "a psycho" ...how do you feel about that since you
told him so many confidential things?"
I think the chances are great another star will come out, who will
just willing to talk about the issues more with the press, like Jason.

Keep in mind that Bert Fields is an influential senior citizen
attorney (in his 80s) who is probably in tight with Sumner Redstone. I
