Perhaps now that they're distributing the "big brother"/"net nanny" censorship
and information control software, they're hoping to ignore the internet
entirely. It's been pointed out before that though there participation here
and elsewhere online appears aimed at the outside world, it's probably mostly
for show to the membership and management. If CoS believes they've made a
firewall between their members and staff, and the entheta on the internet, the
real motive for acting like they're "doing something" drops away, and perhaps
the argument that they do themselves more harm than good by being active begins
to take precedence.

As usual, we'll just have to see.

In spite of the picket signs saying things like "xxx.scientology-kills.org"
outside their beds?

In spite of the little stickers saying "scientology's net.nanny broke
your machine? Use 16-bit mIrc and see why they interfere with your
communication". #scientology, on efnet."

In spite of people asking publics "gee, why do you think scientology
is afraid of the internet?"

This is kinda like ignoring a fire in the basement....

Guess it's urprising they'd do that -- they're good at ignoring things
in basements. Right, Dclameclamnclamnclamiclamsclam? Right,
Lnotsinotssnotsanots?

After all, this is the folk that went through Dennis's disk drive and
deleted "clear", isn't it?

If they could ignore us, this would be too bad. After all, their
net.presence is the best argument against them we have. Well, except
the policies, and nots, and tapes of hubbard ranting, and ....

Fortunately, they're required to attack, attack, attack! <grin>

Poor little cclamlclamaclammclams, snap, snap, snap.
