NOTE: The Valley event is at the PAC Base.

Dear friends,

We read in history books of "Great men" and "Great leaders". Few of
us have ever met or heard one. These days, there are "Famous men",
"Powerful men"... perhaps too many for our own good. But "Great
men"...?

Precious few "Great men" are even heard from these days, except in
libraries, where their voices are somewhat faint, if not buried
utterly.

Great men have the ability to rekindle long dormant, powerful
impulses, and inspire vast numbers of people by strength of character,
and ambitious ideals. When a Great man speaks, the listener knows he
is witness to the most pertinent and vital message there could be at
that moment.

I consider David Miscavige to be such a man. And as he is forwarding
the message and intention of LRH, the importance magnifies, and one's
opportunity to participate in a truly monumental experience is not to
be wasted.

This Saturday night, an announcement of magnitude made by Chairman of
the Board, RTC, will be on the big video screen at L. Ron Hubbard Way,
and at orgs all over the planet.

I can tell you, YOU do not want to miss this one.

Those of us who were at Flag for the Maiden Voyage Anniversary OT
Summit are in a kind of difficult position, since we KNOW what the
news is, but really can't say.

Frankly, I wouldn't presume to try and explain it all; believe me,
it's much better left to COB. And once you hear what he has to say,
you will see why it has been no small feat to keep the subject of this
event under wraps for a whole week.

So, even if it were emblazoned in the sky in letters ninety feet tall
it would STILL fail to match the magnitude of the news it is
heralding; and I will see you there this Saturday night!

One last thing? Tell your friends. We need everybody there.
EVERYBODY!

thanks! This is good evidence for the history books of the support
the "top" (lower rung, established, stable) celebs have for David
Miscavige. This looks like it preceded one of the Maiden Voyage
events for the LA area, last month, July.

This is evidence of celebrity sycophancy and damage control for the
lower ranked LA public who may have heard of the bullshit DM has been
up to in decimating the top exec ranks of the movement out at Gilman
Hot Springs.

Celeb "heavy hitters" who form their own sort of clique with it's
influence over the LA public, this obviously smacks of sticking up for
the leader, since I'll bet the rumors about DM's viciousness against
his subordinates at Int, and against Mike RInder (DM has beaten up
Mike Rinder way too many times, and Mike likely has gotten in trouble
for this BBC show bombout also).

Thanks!

I liked Jim M, he's been a long long term trouper. I remember seeing
him at Int, in the 1980s, he got brought up to do the comedy part of
the base's own local for themselves Christmas/New Year's show that was
held just for the Int Base staff.

Other Christmas/new Year's shows at Int, held for just the Int base
crews, one year I remember Nicky Hopkins came and played piano with
the Golden Era Musicians.

Back where there used to be "rewards" for the Int staffs' production,
on top of capers and rewards they always had every Christmas a
Christman show for themselves in MCI (dining room at Int). The crew
at Int would do all manner of skits, there are/were so many talented
skilled people amongst staff, they'd do comedy skits routinely each
Xmas, and staff who were musicians often did solo or group music, and
other entertainment. Karbo (forget his real name) did magic, so did
Chuck Brummer. Tom (forget his last name) sang, others sang. Norman
Starkey even hammed it up on the drums one year for one of the crew
skits/shows.

Anyways, Jim M, he did his funny improv skit, multiple characters in
rapid succession, I think even as far back as 1983 or so.

When the "Road to Freedom" album was recorded at Int, lots of celebs
used to come up and be there to do their parts. I remember the
singer guy, Maxine Nightengale, David Pomerantz, and others, all
performed at various times for the crew at Int.

All this, no more.

It is really a whole year by year decline in the bringing of celebs to
Int, and now in LA there is the Mad Hatter studio sold by Chick Corea
to the Sea Org, where celebs can more easily be brought to do music
videos and stuff for Golden Era Musicians music stuff.

It'd be nice to get these celebs to speak unrestrained, and take a
good look over the years about DM's slow slow gradual decimation of
the top ranks of the movement.

Lots of celebs have seen it upclose.

Tom Cruise had Marty Rathbun do Tom's OT V, and now Marty's out of the
top ranks.

Lots of the people who chummed around with celebs who came to Int over
the years, those top Sea Org people are all in the permanent shits or
demoted or blown, now.

Jim's little support piece for DM, I take it as a little bit
strained. Jim is a good guy, I think, but lots of good guys (I surely
was one) just kept hoping things were going well and all was turning
out okay, while in reality the desperation and predicaments and
disgraceful behavior in muted anger and overt anger, that occurs,
while in fact there are NO real OTs being created, it is probably
relevant that celebs who are skilled in acting, are good at the
pretend game that all is well in the top ranks of the Bridge to Total
Freedom.

I note that Jim is an OT VIII and the ultimate example of someone
who's gotten to the top of the Bridge.

Jim ought to be sought out and interviewed by media, in my opinion.
He represents quite the top of the line for Scientology. He should be
put on the spot and speak freely!

LRH stroked the celebs, and won their support, and they rather not
turn on all that good flow of energy LRH threw their way, which seemed
to be for the celebs' good, but really, if the celebs look around,
they will see things NOT turning out as nicely as they should be
turning out.

Top ranks execs in the movement are all gone, one for one. Only a few
in executive positions today, the rest demoted.

And no real OTs anywhere.

I don't think Jim Meskimen is gonna be the celeb who leads the pack of
them in coming to grips with the sad charade of it all.

I still hope some celeb stands up and does the right thing, and gets
honest about Scientology publicly.

Hitler was a 'great leader' too...DM is nothing but a monster created
by his own lies and I bet that he now believes he is certainly a
'great leader'...

I wonder who or what he'd be if he were not in the SO...LOL!

You're right, of course. I congentinally have a loose screw on
gullibility, and hope, on the OT stuff, but I see the OT stuff is a
shame, no OTs, and the celebs who are good at acting, act their roles
the best.

It is odd though that other people in for over 3 decades come to grips
and speak up.

But the celebs, not speaking up when they realize the lack of results
isn't their fault, that it's LRH's having sold one and all the same
thing that's been sold a long time no earth, and no one's gotten the
OT results anytime in history at the level Scientology claims it's
doing it.

Are you able to do OT stuff?

I agree, when does that rapid fire character change, fast run about 10
characters in seconds, it impressed me. He was incredibly quick in
that improv stuff.

I saw him at ASI, with Tate Rupert and a couple others in that improv
group, they were damn good.

I think this was Jim M also, the letter. I agree with you, he did
check his career at the door of Scientology. His wife too, I liked
her in that improv skit act they all did also!

good. were you able to do the OT stuff BEFORE Scientology? Or was
there a direct correlation between a particular Scientology spiritual
technique or auditing level that you think directly resulted in either
an increased OT abilitiy, or a new OT ability?

Is you OT ability(s) something that would stand up to repeated
demonstration, or is it sporadic and quixotic or random?

The problem has been no repeated meat and potatoes demonstration of an
OT ability consistently that can stand even supportive investigators
(minus parlor tricks or magic tricks).

Is/are your OT ability(s) strong enough to convince, say, me?

Best, Chuck

But Alex, your subjective OT powers are no different from any
non-Scientologist's subjective "OT Powers":

"Dang, I was just thinking about you!"
"St. Anthony, St. Anthony, look around, and help me find what can't be found."
"I knew I shouldn't have taken that plane..."
"Oh, I just knew there was something strange about that person."

Et cetera.

And of course I must mention the high probablity that such experiences
are the result of selective memory, and subconscious reasoning. Et
cetera. Just a friendly reminder.

Thanks for your word clearing service, alex. I'm sure we all feel ennobled
by it.

I believe the power of reasoning based on evidence may be latent among a
lot of us here. It's a spooky power altogether easier to awaken than the
ability to fry a cockroach with your mind.
