Unfortunately, he is in the Caribbean right now. We're working on
locating his exact whereabouts in the case the United States would
like to extradite him. There are at least three people on different
islands keeping an eye out. Apparently the Freewinds has been
located, but as for DM himself we're still waiting for confirmation.

Very glad. Hopefully Anonymous had something to do with it.

The cult will soon understand the comfort that these extreme numbers
give to current and ex-Scientologists who were in the past afraid to
speak out and/or leave. From what I am hearing, a lot of recent Sci's
who JUST left say they were questioning everything for a while but
they drill this into you so deeply, you almost feel its wrong to
question it. But these numbers not only encourage them to open their
eyes but help give them the courage they've been missing to actually
say something about it.

Like I keep saying.. once the ball is rolling, there is no bringing it
back. That's why the grasp must be ever so tight to begin with. The
ball is definitely rockin', if not rollin' :)

It's true. I've been to several parties where I was the only non-ex
member present. And if there's one thing that stands out from the
conversations, it's the fact that they ALL had doubts, but could not
speak out about them to anyone. Nobody who's in has any idea that
they're not the only one harboring doubts, because they dare not say
anything for fear of reprisal. And they get out, and they can talk to
each other again, and what you hear is, "You too? Wow, I had no idea!"

It's funny because, now that they're free from this totalitarian cult,
they *can* talk about these things. What a difference a door makes!
Walk through it, back into the real world, and look what happens. All
the suppressed shit comes out that they couldn't talk about before.
It's wild and woolley, and a hell of a lot of fun!

I am very pleased that anonymous has chosen Scientology as a target.
This is going to fast forward Scientology's imminent demise. Their
presence has placed Scientology in a place it otherwise would have taken
us a few more years to get to.

Eeh, Anonymous did not choose Scientology. It chose Anonymous. For
each evil villain there is a superhero that can defeat it... If it
does not have one, it will create one. This is the case of creating
ones own enemy. It happened once before, the first Scientology vs the
Internet war, but internet was young and not many used it so impact
had nowhere to snowball. Today, internet is almost everywhere... And
thus a small groups initiative snowballed. CoS had gotten away with
their deeds so-far by suppressing information and avoiding scrutiny of
the public. Because when scrutinized almost every sane person finds
fault in their ethics.

Saw it on a couple of coworkers of mine I talked to about this...

First their reaction was that of tolerance, "They have the right to
believe whatever they want.", when explained its not about believing,
its about an organization robbing people they moved on to dismissal
"Silly people, let themselves be robed like that..." And when told of
information suppression, criminal history, critic harassments and
disconnection they were outright stunned, "How can a country allow
this? Don't they know?".

That last one is a very good question... Don't they know?

Heh. I had a friend who was getting sucked up into The Forum. She
coerced me and another friend to go to one of their introductory
presentations with a promise of fish tacos. So, he and I rode our bikes
up to north county. It was quite off-putting, being approached by a lady
who was just super happy to see us. We gave them fake names and
addresses and were herded into a room with about 30 others.

We got testimonials from people who took the podium to tell us how The
Forum helped them. You never heard such stupid problems in your life!

Then the hostess got up and related some of her stories. Again, her
problems were nothing. And when she ended, she said to the crowd, "You
may ack me now." I didn't know it was a Scn term at the time, I only
knew the whole thing was a sham designed to get us into the $400 program
they were offering.

Then it was time to reach out to the audience of potential suckers, and
the woman was unfortunate enough to pick me. "How do you think The Forum
can help your life?" she asked.

"I don't think it can," I replied. "All the problems I've heard here
this evening are simple things that are easily solved. I don't't need
any help."

The group broke up to shuttle us into secondary rooms. Our female
attendant directed us to a small room with a chalkboard at one end, and
more of those damned plastic chairs. "We'll be right with you," she
promised, and went off to find her partner.

At this point, we took the opportunity to slip out of the fire door and
ran around the building to our bikes, snickering madly. It was an
experience!
