Guess the guy wasn't an OT either - he'd not needed a pit crew, nor had an
accident. In a pig's eye (namely Hubbard's).
I recall that once Mario Andretti's car was set up with a
$cientology/Dianetics sponsor arrangement, which of course involved stickers
on his car. Andretti withdrew from the arrangement and stating he'd not
known what it was, and now didn't want it on his car.

There's a Dianetics Racing Team on the Superbike road racing circuit.
You don't hear about any Big Wins, though, unless you count staying up
on two wheels for the duration of the race a Win...

dang..dang..dang. You mean they are not winning? Maybe they really believe
some of the shit they post on alt.motorcycle.sportbike after all... I mean
there is some pretty bogus stuff there coming from that sector (along with one
good idea, 'counter steering', but that is not a cultie insight..... as with
Hubbub, you get that bit of truth, with **crap added. ).
