EXPANDED CC PLATEN

One of the biggest outpoints with the old clearing course
platen is that one does not get good ITSA on running it.

My personal experience was that I did get Itsa on the OT 2
platens, spotting occasional locks and seeing how I'd
dramatized them occasionally on the track. But this was
not true when I ran the CC (which was on old OT 4, so it
was after doing OT 2). A lot of it just FNed (as did much
of OT 2), but some items read spectacularly, the TA
action was quite good, and I felt a good bit of weight
lift. So the CC platen ran well, except for the fact
that there wasn't any Itsa worth a damn.

I don't think that it was me. The items just didn't seem
to relate properly to life. And yet there were reads
and charge did come off. In fact there was one spectacular
read, a gigantic theta bop between 1.5 and 3.5 on the TA
with tiny theta bops at each end which would repeate exactly
3 times and then FN at 2.5 each time the item or its opterm
was called. It ran like clockwork, so the items had to
be right. But no Itsa. What little I know about the
incident now is from running earlier track (see Cosmic History
in Super Scio) rather than from running the platen.

The most likely reason would be that the items were right
but the platen was incomplete. My experience with researching
actual GPMs (Super Scio chapter 3) was that you can get
items reading well and rocket reading and going to big
FNs and then take another pass over the platen and find
that you had missing item pairs in between. In other
words, skipped items do not create the same degree of
trouble as getting an item incorrect (mis-worded, half
right, etc.).

I previously did some work on trying to expand the first
section of the CC platen (part A - "The Sevens"). That
can be found in post26 in the pilot archives at fza.org.

This time I had a major cognition on the structure of
the confusion GPM which is part C of the clearing course
(note that part B - "The Basic Endwords" is simply a list
of the endwords used in the confusion GPM - I assume that
that was simply run to get charge off of the endwords
first before tackling the GPM itself).

The confusion GPM as given on the CC has 2 items per
endword, and when I revisited it, I found 6. And with
that I also found more endwords (36 instead of 21 all
together) and it read nicely on the meter and my Itsa
line finally opened up on how these items are dramatized
in life.

It's still just a big old implant, but it produces good
TA and with the expanded platen (below), it runs easily.

--------------

Before I present the revised platen, I thought that it
might be helpful to explain how I came to it.

I was skimming through the 16th ACC transcripts looking
for quotes to use on a "Ron the Freezoner" web page that
I'm trying to put together and I came upon the following
nifty quote in lecture 20 "Auditing Techniques: Workable
and Unworkable" of 30 JAN 57.

> "Horribly enough, there is only one direction for the data
> of Dianetics and Scientology, in being fed to anybody with
> any kind of communication at all, and that's up. We've
> taken units and we've done nothing but instruct them,
> we've done nothing but feed them data, done nothing but
> give them lectures, and had them all improve. That's an
> oddity, isn't it? Because the data they were being given
> would make strong men blanch and strong women take to
> whiskey. Tell them all about thought control on the
> whole track, you know? ..."

This, combined with all the quotes I already know about
how dangerous it would be to make the tech confidential
got me wondering yet again about why the CC was made
confidential.

In keeping the platen secret, there is the danger that
it will be used against people. And in publishing it
broadly, the worst that would happen would probably
be that a few people got a little keyed in for a few
days and then felt a lot better.

In fact, I think that if you published a correct platen
in Reader's Digest, you would probably lighten the entire
planetary case even if you got a little bit of sarcasm and
riddicule in response.

So why not do just that to safeguard people from having
this used against them?

It must be that this platen does not indicate to people
as being correct. And the very title ("the confusion
GPM") makes me think that even Ron found it confusing.

And it must be confusing because there are items missing
even though it is one of the best reading platens known.

So I tried to spot what was missing and why the platen
didn't make sense.

The entire confusion GPM just uses Create and Destroy.
That may be a heritage from looking at things as simple
opterms during the research of 1963-4.

And I remembered John Alexander's comment about how
Jack Horner was looking at a pattern of 3, and I remembered
that the cycle of action is Create - SURVIVE - Distroy.

And then I remembered an old tape (I think it was from the
HPCA series of 1956) where Ron had just cognited on the
real cycle of action being Create-Create-Create and
speculated that the Create-Survive-Destroy cycle was
not only an abberation but quite possibly had been
implanted.

So I thought of it being a cycle of all 3 rather than
just create and destroy. And since the items are
in the form "creating to destroy" and "destroying
to create", I simply added "creating to survive",
"suviving to create", "destroying to survive", and
finally "suviving to destroy".

I wrote all six down with the first endword which is
"The Now" (or "the present") and immediately because
dizzy in a funny sort of way.

So I dug out my meter and found that all of them gave
nice small falls (despite having FNed the two old ones
when I did the CC platen long ago).

I then began meter assessing for the correct order
to place the 6 items in. When I got the sequence
given below, it read as correct and the dizzyness
turned off instantly.

Next I took that first set of six (on the endword "NOW")
and began flattening the reads by repetative spotting
of the items (see Self Clearing chapter 34 for how
to flatten an implant platen).

With that I suddenly started cogniting on all these
locks in the form of "Creating an X to survive the now
of a Y", such as "creating a good tooth to survive the
now of a bad tooth" (or to survive a bad tooth in the
present).

And I could see this compulsive creation coming about
out of an effort to survive some unpleasantness. But
of course one then fails at creation (because it doesn't
really handle the unpleasantness one is non confronting)
and thereby slips into the next item, which is to
"surviving to create".

In other words, having become obsessed with creating,
one now has to survive in order to continue creating.
But when that fails, you begin destroying in order
to continue to survive, and so on.

And I could see this in the context of a being early
on the track getting suckered into compulsively mocking
things up in terms of survival and destruction.

This high level of Itsa validated the pattern for me.

The items as given by Ron, were -

Pair One:

CREATING TO DESTROY THE NOW
DESTROYING TO CREATE THE NOW

And the expanded pattern I found is -

Set One:

CREATING TO SURVIVE THE NOW
SURVIVING TO CREATE THE NOW
DESTROYING TO SURVIVE THE NOW
SURVIVING TO DESTROY THE NOW
DESTROYING TO CREATE THE NOW
CREATING TO DESTROY THE NOW

This is obviously an early implant that lays in the
Create - Survive - Destroy cycle.

My thought now is that the original platen was unpleasant
to read and a bit restimulative because it restimulated
the missing items. In other words it wasn't the kick of
the items you were reading but the kick of the items that
were not there. With careful solo, you could then flatten
the items anyway (if the 2 known ones were discharged, then
they would stop restimulating the missed ones), but you
couldn't just casually skim over it because of the omissions.
Hence it would not have been optimum to publish the original
platen in Reader's Digest.

After this I started flattening the rest of the implant
and I found more endwords in between the ones given on
Ron's platen.

The expanded list of endwords is as follows. I kept Ron's
numbering and identified the ones I found by adding letters
so that you can see which ones are from the original platen.
Note that in a couple of cases I tried to reword or alter
the sequence of the original ones and that doesn't work,
the originals really are correct, its just that there are
some inbetween that were missed. However I did find that
a few of the endwords reacted better without including
the "THE". I suspect that the use of "THE" is a matter of
translation and what communicates best. Ron's version
always has "THE" in the endword.

Also, the original CC has that business of spotting "The
Light" worked into it. They have it worked in between
endword 11 (Life) and 12 (existance), but when I added
endword 11A (Death) at that point, it seemed like there
was a "Light" associated with death and that seemed to make
sense. But when I reworking it this way, I seemed to get a
sort of divine eturnal light (the Christian "lux aeterna")
rather than an impression of a point source atomic light
(which is what I seemed to get when I ran the old CC).

The basic endwords of the confusion GPM are:

1. THE NOW
2. THE PAST
3. THE FUTURE
4. TIME
5. THE SPACE
6. MOTION
7. ENERGY
8. THE MASSES

--------------------

I would really like to know if people find this easier or
harder to run than the original platen.

I think that in this form its safe and easy to read, but
I don't have much charge on implant items anymore so its
hard for me to tell how this would affect a beginner.

I'm now pretty sure that that unpleasant kick of the old
CC platen is an indicator of missing items on a partially
correct platen. One platen in Super Scio has that same
kick and that is the "Big Splitter" implant that I put
in chapter 9, and I know that one has problems and missing
items (thats why I put it in chapter 9 with warnings
instead of including it with all the other platens in
chapter 8).

I hope this helps.

Best,

The Pilot
