Yeah, I know Fogg is the Verne one; what tipped me off about
Phineas was his use of the word "pachyderm", which not many
use ( i did ) and also his posts on Scientology; Sorry Mr. Fogg :-)

I have this problem with associations with words - i have had
it ever since i got on the net - i associate words with people,
which is not exactly Wittgenstein at his best. Does anyone else
have that or is it just me?

Yes, but I used it as an adjective, i.e., "pachydermic".

are thinking of (I don't post on any Yahoo forum, if that was where
you got him from, nor I never have used the Narco nym, not ever, on
any forum, let alone this one), I never would lower myself to porn,
not my thing, really. You are free to indulge in my many musings,
just do a search on Phineas Fogg in a google advanced groups search,
with me as the author, on the alt.religion.scientology and
alt.clearing.technology ng. I have posted here since March of 2000.
I have used "Phinny" on IRC, once or twice, on the very rare
occasions I have visited there, but I am not that Phinny you are
thinking of, you can be certain of that.

which, I believe, comes from "Around The World In Eighty Days."

I have no idea who Phineas Narco is. From your tone, I assumed
he is some famous person in (modern abstract painting, cuban
folk music, west coast rap, or some other subject I know
nothing about) and you reckoned evryone knew about him. I don't.
