"The body of Shawn Lonsdale, 39, was found in his home at 510 N.
Lincoln Ave. about 12:30 p.m. Saturday, said Elizabeth Daly-Watts,
Clearwater public safety spokeswoman.
"I can tell you there are no signs of foul play,'' she said. "It does
appear to be a suicide.''

entries (clear number [from 1970's?] and the "intro" level
courses) don't jive with each other - its likely there are
two Carl Watts.

I looked in Pinellas and Hillsborough county records but no license to
her was found. Only in Pinellas a man of the same name is found to be
married to a woman named LINA EFFIE KRAKUE in 1996.
One can call the clerk to see if it's in those counties but the
marrioage is not listed in either one. Daly appears to be from
Hillsbouough County originally
I did find that in April 07 he transferred properties to her by
quitclaim deed. Their address is on the paperwork. I copied 1 of 2
pages if you need it.

I believe he's a cop. I also believe he once was sued for fraud but
case was dismissed. He was the president and director of TAMPA BAY LAW
ENFORCEMENT CHARITIES INC , which he ran out of the address he and
Elizabeth are listed at. This is an inactive corp and he was not
listed as the corp officer on record, only at start up in corporate
papers, which I copied, too.

the Carl Watts who married Elizabeth Daly has the middle name Edward,

I'm sure a Scientologist public official would have found nothing suspicious
about the death of Lisa McPherson either. It just shows how much Clearwater
is owned by the cult that they'd appoint a crime cultist to a position like
this, where she gets to tell the city whether or not the deaths of critics of
her cult are suspicious or not.
How SPECIAL.
I happen to think a suicide is plausible in this case. However, I don't think
it will get anything like the investigation it deserves, and there will forever
be a cloud over the whole thing.

There's no confirmation yet, but an Elizabeth Daly and a Carl Watts
are married and living in CW. There's an Elizabeth Daly-Watts who's a
police spokesperson in CW, and apparently a Carl Watts who is also a
cop in CW. There's an Elizabeth Daly and two Carl Watts who are listed
as Scientologists. We can only speculate and keep digging, but it's
looking pretty fishy from where I'm sitting.

communications in CW, apparently they were contacted by Tampa Tribune
asking about Elizabeth's past. They did not state that she is not a
Scientologist, but they did say that in 1994 she was in college, and
that she is married to a Carl Watts who is a cop (well done Mary!) So
far all that has been established is that there was a Carl Watts and
an Elizabeth Daly who got involved in Scientology in the early 90s,
and there's a Carl Watts and an Elizabeth Daly who got married and
live in Clearwater, the Scientology town. Whether these are the same
people, I do not know. I'm glad Tampa Tribune thought this was
important enough to follow up.

I am glad you linked the Dream's End post. I was coming here to post

I think both names are pretty common. In Googling "Carl Watts" I found
lots of different Carl Wattses. Same for Elizabeth Dalys. I know that
there was an actress named Elizabeth Daly who was onlines at the LA
Celebrity Centre, because I've seen her in old Celebrity magazines. I
suspect the completions on Kristi's site are that Elizabeth Daly's.
Who knows, maybe the actress could have been in college in 1994 and
gone on to work in the Clearwater PD, but it seems unlikely.
It bears checking out, but I hate to see people jumping to conclusions
and pointing fingers without knowing *for sure* that this woman and/or
her husband is a Scientologist. If it turns out neither of them is, it
makes critics look like hysterical idiots who can't be bothered to
check their facts.

Yeah, we perhaps got a bit carried away because it does look like a
case of mistaken identity. Most of this thread is just asking the
question rather than coming to any conclusion, but if it does give the
appearance of accusing Elizabeth Daly-Watts and her husband of being
Scientos, I'm sorry, she probably isn't and neither is her husband.

Somebody from outside Clearwater needs to do an independent
invstigation of this because it's just too fishy.

about the content ofd an article that mentioned Ms Daly-Watts as being
a scientologist and I believed what I read in other posts without
delving further to confirm if the info was true. Because I was
questioned, I decided to do a complete investigation on this because
like many, I came to believe that Ms Daly-Watts was a scientologist.
The fact is, she is not one
The error began with your posting the above information without noting
that in addition to there being a Carl Watts on the completion list,
there is a Carl Allen Watts as well and that these two names are for
the same person. All one has to do is look at the completion
information. One can also see that he does not live in Clearwater FL.
As well, the scientologist listed as Carl Watts has a Scientologist
Online cookie-cutter web site which says he works witrh children

I found the marriage certificate. These people were just married last
March. Her birth year is 1976 and his is 1967. Mr Watts was born and

relative.
