Not sure about that but probably. Her father Leo was Australian and her
mother Ivy was English (took two teabags each cup).

Busted off the ship for getting pregnant - the nerve of her!

During part of that time (1974 I believe, and a little longer) she was
Deputy CO of Celebrity Centre or something like that (I was there).

One of the biggest looney-tunes in $cientology. He's the guy who (while
on the Apollo) prompted Elround to write the "Joker and Degrader" policy
after he caught Howey imitiating him (very well, too) while doing watch.
Of course, that policy was based on real, "whole track" secret knowledge
of the true reason for the demise of vast civilizations, ya know. ;-)

I didn't keep up with her but one of the things she did was go to work
with Milton Katselas, so-called acting teacher, in Los Angeles.
Irene once proclaimed to the staff at CC at a staff meeting that the
entire Earth population would all be in the See Yorg some day. I still
laugh at that one.

Well, actually, she didn't.
She was the CO of AOLA in 1982. I don't know exactly how long she had
been on that post. She was RPFed from the CO post around August of
1982. The RPF issue siad that she was "CI [counterintention] to
management." I think that management people were trying to rip off
personnel from the org and she said no.
She was on the RPF for about a year and a half to two years. After
that I think she may have been sent on a couple of missions. At some
point she wound up being the CO of Celebrity Centre Int.
While she was on staff at CC Int, she took a staff LOA (Leave of
Absence). I think this was around 1986. The reason for this LOA was
that her (then) teenage daughter Tammy (Terrenzi) was out of control,
and Irene felt she needed to leave staff to handle her.
It's a little fuzzy as to how this went from this point on. She was
supposedly on an LOA, but technically still considered Sea Org. Jack
Dirmann at the time was doing this thing where he was setting up Purif
centers. From what I heard, he was actually still considered to be Sea
Org staff, and was doing this as part of some sort of Sea Org project
(maybe under ABLE?). I don't know how true this was, but I heard that
Irene after this was still getting auditing at staff rates.
The only other thing I know is that she wound up working for Milton
Katzelas as some sort of executive administrator. She was apparently
his "right hand man" and ran his company. The fact that she was the CO
CC Int in the Sea Org and then wound up being in this position with a
guy who was responsible for disseminating Scientology to celebs may or
may not be a coincidence. It may be that her husband wasn't the only
one on a "special project" for the Sea Org.

Thanks for adding this. I was out of the Sea Org from March until
December 1982, so I didn't keep up with where she was posted. By
the time I rejoined the Sea Org in late December she wasn't CO AOLA
as far as I recall. Wasn't Ivan the CO AOLA by December 1982?

I don't know how I missed this; I was back in the Sea Org at ASHO
for most of 1983, and I never saw her in PAC that year.

HealthMed, under FASE.

Interesting. I hope you'll post more about what you know.
Interesting info, thanks! I *think* her daughter was one of the SO kids I
was in on trying to "Handle" when they all had found gangs as a solution to
years of abandonment. It was truly a nightmare, that was unfixable at that
time. The kids were all armed with the tech, to use it against Scientology.
"Never desert a friend in need, in danger, or in trouble". "Well, we're
keeping our Code of Honor In, and we refuse to disconnect from these kids
you all call gangs.
They may be gangs to you, but they're our family now."
Yeeeks! It was my understanding this actually began
the "no children in the Sea Org" routine.
Do you know if Irene is still with Milton?
Happy New Year to you :)

I've asked an 'old-timer' about Irene and was told that she and Tony
were running the Perth Org (don't know their individual posts) in the
late 50s, early 60s.
Tony's first claim to fame was creating one of the first 'pyschotic
break' pcs who was locked up in the org for several weeks before they
bailed and handed her over to the dreaded psychs to sort out the mess.
Which fortunately for her, they did. Lisa wasn't so lucky.

Yes. Rene Duszak took over as CO for a short time after Irene was
busted. Ivan became the CO shortly after that.

I don't think she actually did her RPF program in PAC. I think it was
at Flag or at Int.
