A) I think many folks would argue that Mormons are Christians.
I believe they qualify by the definition according to CS Lewis
in _Mere Christianity_. I know of no better definition.
B) The BS just want you to agree God exists. That allows for most
religions. AFAIK.
Mark
They don't require belief in Christ exactly, but a Judaeo-Christian God
concept
is highly reccomended.
The Ron Scouts
(With apologies to the Boy Scouts of America)
RON SCOUT LAW
TRUSTWORTHY. A Ron Scout files his KRs promptly. He pays the reg on time.
Honesty is part of his code of conduct. People can depend on him.
LOYAL. A Ron Scout is true to his 2D, as long as they aren't PTS ot
declared, Org leaders, and OSA operatives.
HELPFUL. A Ron Scout is concerned about clearing the planeet. He does things
willingly for others without pay or reward.
FRIENDLY. A Ron Scout is a friend to all. He is a brother to other Ron
Scouts. He seeks to understand others. He respects those with ideas and
customs other than his own when out in public.
COURTEOUS. A Ron Scout is polite to everyone regardless of age or position.
He knows good manners make it easier for people to stay on course.
KIND. A Ron Scout understands not to reward the downstat. He treats others
as their stats dictate. He does not hurt or kill others without a good
cause.
OBEDIENT. A Ron Scout follows the rules of Scientology, his Org, and
Mission. He obeys the laws of his community and country when he must. If he
thinks these rules and laws are unfair, he tries to have them changed by
helping to get Scientologists placed where they can do the most good.
CHEERFUL. A Ron Scout looks for the bright side of things. He cheerfully
does RPF tasks that come his way. He tries to make others happy. He counters
black PR effectively.
THRIFTY. A Ron Scout works to pay his way and to audit others. He saves for
unforeseen courses. He protects and conserves Org resources. He carefully
uses Org time and property.
BRAVE. A Ron Scout can face danger even if he is afraid. (Or at least make
up a good story about it afterward.) He has the courage to convince others
to stand for what he thinks is right even if wogs laugh at or threaten him.
CLEAN. A Ron Scout keeps his body and mind fit and clean. He goes around
with those who believe in living by these same ideals. He helps keep his
home and community clean.
REVERENT. A Scout is reverent toward Source. He is faithful in his religious
duties. He respects the beliefs of others, as long as the wogs are looking.

Absolutely, completely, totally, 100% false.
The BSA requires its members to be "reverent," IOW to have some kind of
religion. They have expelled non-religious atheists, though atheistic
Buddhists are welcome. There is an optional religious studies program
that is usually specificlly tailored to the boy's religion. I have
never seen a "God and Country" program for scientology though.

Mormons are Christians too! More to the point, I was a member of a
Jewish scout troop. The Boy Scouts require a professed belief in
God, but nothing more specific.

Ah, yes, we all know about Bennetta. Lisa McPherson's former boss, who
sent her to Ethics on at least one occasion. This fact got her named as a
defendant in the civil suit for a while, but she seems to be off the hook
(for the moment). Bennetta is certainly familiar with my OSA dossier,
since she tried to contact me after one of my letters to the editor
appeared in a local paper. She also ran a very non-confront kind of
damage control after one of my city commission appearances.
>> Sue Minkoff Dianetics Athletic Association I/C
I assume that this is the wife of David Minkoff, the OT physician at the
New Port Richey hospital where the $cientologists took Lisa to try and
cover up certain facts regarding her death. Unlike Bennetta, David is NOT
getting off the hook, and can expect to face some serious music once
Dandar's case goes to trial.

Ah yes, the lovely Ms. Guignon. She's a Super Power Founding Member, rubbing
shoulders with those darling Dohrings, Doug and Laurie, Joe and Kathy Feshback
and the inestimable duo, Dr. and Mrs. Zwan.
Claire is also likely related to Margaret and Edward Guignon, top ten initial
sellers at the DIGL IPO. I also have some vague memory of Claire being listed,
at one point, as an ATEG inside trader, although I'm damned if I can find the
reference.

In the early 80s, Perry was treasurer of the involuntarily-dissolved Church of
Scientology of Clearwater, Inc. He's also president of the non-profit Freedom
From the Press Association, registered agent for Bryan Zean's little thetan
corporation Logical Magic, Inc., and even had his very own enterprise: Notawog
Personal Management. (The name kinda says it all, no?)

Haggerty is *also* one of the many scn holdovers still active within CATS, the
formerly cult-run tax protest group that was divorced from the mother church
to comply with the IRS agreement.
As previously posted, however, the change seems to have been in name only,
since many of the same names - including Haggerty, who was secretary of the
old CATS, and currently heads up the Clearwater branch of the new CATS.
More to come when I go through the list more thoroughly, but great job, Mark.
This week, you can have the ARSCC Fin Invest office with the window.

Is this the accident/injury attorney "Larry Parker" in southern California
that used to run ads on daytime TV that had a guy saying at the end:
"Larry Parker got me $2.1 million!" (That was true, BTW.) It was those ads
that seemed largely responsible for making those types of advertising
claims by lawyers illegal in California.

Maybe that's why Notawog was apparently less than a runaway success. It's not
an awfully good idea to insult a huge chunk of your potential market with the
name of your business.
(Personally, I'm more curious abut the Association for Freedom from the Press.
But then, given my profession - I would be, wouldn't I?)
