5X CLUB MEMBERS
Below is a list of all staff members around the world who achieved 5X
their 27 December stats before Ron's birthday and whose applications
were received by the 5X Club President and accepted, or who were
approved by their own orgs and their names telexed to the 5X Club
President.
Their names are recorded here as the pioneers of LRH's great boom this
year, which has only just begun. For 5X marks a turning point in the
history of Scientology and this planet. This is OUR planet. With 5X we
began to move in in earnest.
Ron's 5X Club members are a special group - they were here at the
beginning of this boom and did their full part for the big first step.
They are a credit to the Power of Source, which they helped extend
across the planet!
The 5X Club members are valuable and appreciated. Each and every one.

Hmm. Ben Shaw has been around a little while. I heard a
~rumour~ that he was with some government agency prior to his
stint with Co$. Is there anyone out there that can track down
the rumour for any iota of fact, or is it strictly in the realm
of "urban legend"?

There was/is a Nelson Betencourt who was busy in Orlando.
He was the ED of the Orlando org back when I was in the
Applied Scholastics Front Group here. He and the ED were at
each others throats back then. He was supposedly (at least what
I heard on my end) suffering from a bit of "insanity" as he was
going through OT V.
He headed up CCHR locally as well back then.
He ran for some local government position here in Orlando,
either city or county, not sure.
Last I heard about a year or two ago, he was on the InterFaith
committee of assorted "religious" groups here in Orlando. I
didn't get to know him very well, but I found him to be a very
likable person.
His wife, Barbara, was Ethics Officer at the school, all the
kids really liked her a lot, she was really nice.
She didn't last too long there. I don't know why not, she
was a breath of fresh air. Maybe ~that~ was the problem.
