These days it gets virtually no new posts...indicating perhaps a shift
to some other freezone NG's, but I dont see much sign of action there
either.. Id say cult traffic is off 99.9% from peak levels.
that would for the SF org 1 student now, where they used to be 150 (in
the early to mid 80's)
I notice similar stats at the other orgs I am familliar with, and its
seen in the flag land base graduation stats and names, very very few
of the older family names...
the cult of scientology has screwed itself.

Why did ACT die? More frequent readers than I would know better, but I'd
say it had became overpopulated by sit on your ass looking at the stars
types. The Freezone activists have never posted about their activities
there much because they chose the opposite path to Anonymous, going
underground. I'd say that was a wise choice.

Still looking for 9,900,000 Scientologists (TM)
One student? Yeah, during the early 70s when I was there, it was
pretty active.
As for A.C.T., I'd say most of the people there have pretty much
always been old timers from the 1980s or thereabouts. As they drift
away into retirement and occasionally expire, there's no incoming raw
meat to replace them.
The only "Freezone" activity that appears to be attracting a modicum
of new people is Sarge Gerbode's TIR refinement of Dianetics, and
those people pretty much do their own thing apart from the ex-
Scientology Freezone groups. Many of them never had anything to do
with Scientology.
the freezone was totally above ground in the late 90's early 2000's
time frame.... before that while still under attack
it was only somewhat underground... now i dont think its underground
as much as simply vaporized esp as the OT-8's are looking vastly
worse... basket cases,
not any better at all... and sure as hell not 'OT'... mostly
nutz. I think people have simply come out from under the ether
and gotten on
with their lives......
. it seems to take at least 5 years for most to begin to truly wake
up, another 5 to start to get free of it, and another 5 years to
start to get objective about the brainwash aspects... that is for the
hard core at least. it seems that time span has now elapsed.
Only total morons remain at this point.
Others can get a cloo earlier and leave cleanly in short order.

maybe one student at the max.. we counted 3 to 5 at dinner time
exodus and return in the late 90's.. they'd also come out to smke
etd. then by 2005, very little foot traffic in or at any time...
lately..poooof. its just dead, no body routers for a few years
now. but staff levels a different story, my guess the SF org has at
least 5 probably more than 10 these days in the evenings.

From someone who was in at the birth of the FZ - me. However a year
later I had drifted away from even the FZ. I kept my emeter for
occasional looksees but when I really realised that I could produce a
read or not at will - try looking for purple people eaters around the
body - I gave the meter away and that was that.
I was connected to David Mayo in Santa Barbara, Robin Scott, Canda
Craig, Bill Robertson, the East Grinstead crowd of course, and Pete
Lauritzen, Miami Ability Centre - but within a year I had lost contact
with them all.
Time - the great destimulator!
regards
Martin
I think only the die hards and crazies are left and those who earn $
delivering services.
:)

To be fair, usenet usage is down 90% across the board.
