I am trying to put together a list of the wealthiest Scientologists. These
would include those members/contributors with VERY serious money who keep a
relatively low profile regarding their involvement. This does not include
highly visible celebrities such as Cruise and Travolta.

Names and occupations of these wealthy "silent" Scientologists would be
appreciated if anyone on this NG has access to such information. Also if you
have information regarding their net worth, this would also come in handy.

As the list fills up, I will repost it along with this message from time to
time in order to keep it updated.

Please inform me if such a list already exists and is webbed...

Thank you very much for sending this list.

I have heard that a significant player on the OPEC board is a member of
Scientology. Is this individual cited below?

I have also heard that a Texas oil billionaire has been active in
Scientology since the 1960's. Might he also be included in the list?

Am unsure of the names of these two individuals.

Thanks again.

The french judge to whom I witnessed two weeks ago wanted to know if I was
maintaining my first witnessings about the rpices of services in
Scientology.

I said it was about 400000 dollars. Yes i maintained. And I showed to
journalists present there, t-hat the scam was asking for donation in the
range of 5 millions just to put names on the plaques. Getting 5 millions for
nothing is more.

Was Zwan the one who managed to defraud ex-scientologist Brian Hany of
something like 200 millions? I believe he is the guy who did that, no?

Well. It's easy to give moneys that are not yours.

That would be Rilwanu Lukman, who appears to be some kind of
sleeper agent. He was involved in the attempted Nigerian frame-up
with the Fashanu report, and was once listed as a single course
completion--albeit misspelled. Details on that near the end.

I'm not sure about him. The wealthiest individual ever alleged to
be a Scientologist is Adnan Khashoggi--and indeed he was at
one point considered the wealthiest individual in the world.

While it isn't certain he is a Scientologist (I've heard rumors of
him having done some auditing, albeit off-lines and unnamed),
his wife Lamia (or whatever she's calling herself these days)
and his son Ali definitely have ties.

Ah well, let's do some fucking math here, to see if we can get the years
on these issues. This is going to be approximately only, since the
starting point I'll use is not 100% certain.

However, I got the following info from one a.c.t participant:

"No. 257 was printed in 1992 (doesn't say which month - looks like Jan.
because it contained a 1992 census questionaire), and it's a monthly
journal, so you can figure back from there (I hate math, or I'd do that
myself)."

So, if No 257 was Jan 1992, that means that:

No 221 was around Jan 1989

No 209 was around Jan 1988

No 201 was around May 1987.

So, that takes us closer and closer towards 1986, that was mentioned in
the E-mail I got from a source that I will protect for now. However,
this was what the person wrote:

" Hi Sten-Arne,

I wish I had more specific information - I was at St Hill in 1986 and
Lukman was on-lines there. He had been on services there for a while
from what I was told. I did not, to be truthful, pay much attention to
him, but the fact that he was a Nigerian diplomat at the time was
sufficiently unusual that I remembered him.

I did verify this with my significant other who was also there at the
same time (I realize that this is not proof BTW). The only possible
outside verification would be if some critic actually has Auditor
magazines from the late eighties from AOSH UK."

Thanks for the help, Rob.

The point of my original question is to get some very rough idea of how much
cash these individuals might actually be capable of funneling into COS. It
seems by the length of the list and the particular wealthy players involved
that COS has a very reliable and potentially staggering amount of $$$$ at
its disposal to deal with a host of contingencies, whether fabricated or
real. I will continue to seek more information.

The Flag Class XII auditor who spoke of his various pcs (though he never
violated their overts) said that he has had who was the daughter of the
President of the Banque Mondiale.

Just to remind: an article has been done in the media recently (VSD,
december 2001); the author said that he had calculated the total of those
5867 names listesd into IAS lists, IMPACT 97. They had paid 300 millions. If
one adds what the others (unlisted now) and the yearly payments add to those
300, it is certainly not unreasonable to think that this part of the scam
only has been able to steal more than half a billion.

Roger,

What does VSD stand for? Is this a magazine that has an English translation?
Is it webbed?

That's a magazine indeed, initials standing for Vendredi Samedi Dimanche, if
my memory serves.
