VITAL STATISTICS
DEATHS
On the 11th of August 2002, a memorial service was held at Saint
Hill for Lensworth Small, an East Grinstead Scientologist who was OT
V. Lensworth has been a Scientologist for over 30 years and has
contributed on many Church projects over the years.
MARRIAGES
On the 8th of September 2002, the wedding of Margret Corbett and Tony
Brown was held in the Saint Hill Chapel. The minister was David Gaiman.
NAMING CEREMONIES
On the 18th of August 2002, a naming ceremony was held for Luke Norman,
son of Katy and Anthony Norman
On the 10th of November 2002, a naming ceremony was held for Alicia
Padfield, daughter of Martin and Maia Padfield.
BIRTHS
On the first of December 2002, Quentin Delassiaz, son of Florent and
Suzanne Delassiaz was born. Suzanne is the Senior C/S of Geneva Org.
On the 3rd of December 2002, a baby boy, Elan Douglas, was born to
Richard and Marie Douglas.

old] is one of the top Field Auditors in UK.
Elana Grossi did the SHSBC in 1987 and recently did the certainty
courses and is now on her Class VIII Course at AOSH UK

Italy: a big expansion in small Missions funded by donations.

No I am sorry Hartley, they did not include addresses. However there
was an article entitled "Saint Hill becomes launching point for more
than 200 Missions worldwide"
It seems that right after the IAS event in Oct of 2002, Freedom Medal
Winner and Big Time Mission Holder Rohn Walker held an event at Saint
Hill. Below is an excerpt from that article.
" The day after receiving his award, Rohn met with hundreds of
Scientologists at Saint Hill and urged them to come on board and open a
mission themselves. And the result was 161 missions formed, with
Mission Holders appointed for each one. Thirty new missions are now in
the making for UK cities, including Glasgow,
Aberdeen, Edinburgh, and Cardiff."
What usually happens at these kind of events is Scientologists "pledge"
to open a mission. But of course, first you have to come up with
35,000 dollars to purchase the Mission Starter Package. The exception
to this would be that a Mission Package was already purchased by
someone but never started so the Mission Package goes to the person
that is willing to actually do the work. Most of those pledges
get written up in the next o/w write up as not doing something that was
promised. As you can see in the above article they are claiming 30
missions are to be open yet they list 9 recently opened and 13 New
Missions Opening. They already had 8 people renege on the deal.
Specifics and addresses for these things are rarely given. But I will
keep an eye out for any news of UK Missions.

What is very interesting about this list is the fact that so many of
them are AOSH EU public - it is also interesting that the AOSH UK tour
is not going anywhere in the UK - only to Europe..

John Mac has bin in the Cof$ for about 25 years as public.I know someone who
knew him at Plymouth Org in the late 70's.
I am reminded here of a saddening earlier UK comps list where John
Hargreaves,the former ED Plymouth completed SHSBC Level B last year (He also
got an award for best SO Auditor n' was pictured next to Griffee Howson,the
AOLA Snr C/S 2 yearz back or so).
But Hargreaves was apparently Cl IV in the late 70's.Guess Churchie$ don't
make much progress up the Bridge,do they.
