I apologize in advance for the total “tech degrade”, admittedly it is
of poor quality and difficult to hear at some points. The female
speaker introducing DM is Sylvia Stannard.

At other points in his speech where there is random cheering, the
decibel level is much noticeably lower. The evil transcriptionists are
working up an evil transcription, but due to the poor quality it will
take some time.
Also of note is that the podium that was used as part of the mock up
was about 3 feet tall.

I think the videos are great! They captured everything so well; the
dwarf walking to his child-size podium, the 'canned' audience
soundtrack, Sylvia Stannard's undying loyalty to this corrupt
organization and tyrant Miscavige doing hiss saleman thing (lying
about biggest, bestest, brightest, yada yada yada). Best of all is
proof of another failed attempt to keep out prying eyes. Of course
they would fail in curtaining off the dais and of course one of the so-
called "berserk and suppressive forces of evil" would get it on
video! lol

You can find others by searching YouTube, of course, including a
cryptic comment by a cop who answers, "Don't get shot" in response to
a question about what Anonymous protesters were allowed to do or not.
But I thought these were the best vids despite the crummy sound
quality. Someone remarked that the speech was almost identical to the
one given in Rome.

Grand opening Wash DC gets '1,000 max! hahahahahahahaha... and you
can count on half or
or more paid actors 'trying out for a crowd scene as done a decade ago
in LA at a new years event,
same one that had the people with no heads (exit interviews indicated
the entire top balcony was
people paid to be extra's)
the faked crowd noise tells the rest of the story.

What is surprising is that these Anonymous guys filming DM had direct
range to him outside and there were no security measures taken by the
church to ' protect' the dwarf from being shot, by film or otherwisde
by the "terrorists" they claim Anonymous to be! Anonymous, of course
is not anywhere as dangerous as Scientology claims it to be to the
media and this is proof.

Bah! ya beat me to it, Eldon! The canned noise to make the crowd seem
bigger is no surprise. We estimated around 400-500 people there, I
think. Sylvia getting an award surprised us all, considering all the
PR flaps from the assaults and her subsequent coverups with the
police... coverups the police are aware of. No public the next day
doesnt surprise me. Many of the out of town anons noticed out of town
scientologists.... seems they came from all over to make things appear
busy and the crowd large.
I was highly amused at the amount of locals who walked up to us and
ranted about how angry they were at the new org going in.... livid
people who couldn't even use their own sidewalks without being run off
by sea org. Great job at endearing yourself to the public, guys.

I wondered exactly the same thing. Banding together and expanding are
mutually exclusive. Its quite hard to get people to engage with a
group of people huddling together and throwing paranoid glances at
everybody.
Of course, one explanation is that DM wants to blow a ton of cult
money on some more buildings and this gives him the grounds to do just
that. Hey, Its all for the expansion you know...
