A spokesperson for the Church of Scientology's public relations
department in the U.K. claims that after 5 years of auditor training a
Scientologist can now become accredited as a counsellor with the U.K.
Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
(partial story below)
"Counselling is a profession. It takes five years to become a registered and
accredited practitioner with the British Association for Counselling and
Psychotherapy. Counselling isn't happening just because someone claims they
are listening or 'have got a theory'."

> A BRITISH SPOKESPERSON CLAIMS DIANETICS AUDITORS
HAVE NOT YET BEEN ALLOWED TO BECOME ACCREDITED IN THE
U.K. with the U.K. Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Wrong! That statement was made by Phillip Hodson, fellow and chief
spokesman of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
The reporter asked him his view after finishing with the lying
Scientologist. Go read the article again, you have a M/U as to the who.

"Imagine a church so dangerous, you must sign a release
form before you can receive its "spiritual assistance."
This assistance might involve holding you against your
will for an indefinite period, isolating you from
friends and family, and denying you access to
appropriate medical care. You will of course be billed
for this treatment - assuming you survive it. If not,
the release form absolves your caretakers of all
responsibility for your suffering and death.
Welcome to the Church of Scientology."

Dear Barb:
Thanks, yes I realized that and posted a correction to it afterwards.
Thanks for pointing that out and your advice was taken before you
posted it.
Sorry about that.
