There is monumental news regarding this year's OT Summit. You've heard

one-time-only OT Summit, co-hosted by the Freewinds and the Flag Land
Base, to be held in Clearwater, Florida.

The OT get-togethers are probably the only benefit of continuing in the CoS.
By definition, most of them will be fairly rich, so it's probably mainly a
networking opportunity.
Particularly for the ones who know they're at the top of a big ol' pyramid
scheme, and don't take the actual scientology too seriously.

Moving the courses ashore might sound rational once they finish the
Super Power building, if they ever do. But this seems to indicate that
the Freewinds is operating under capacity.

Well, it sounds like this is an epic event... designed to make
purported OTs believe they don't have OT powerz and should only listen
to the rantings of Miss Cabbage as Roger so charmingly calls the
current leader. What a little nutcase he or she is. Davey is going way
over the top at an early age.
In other words, a desperate measure. Will they provide special guided
tours of the Super Power building with illumination by flashlight?

OK, so this is the not so BIG announcement, the transfer of the Freewinds
courses onto land. Not in the SuperPowerz building, but in Fort Harrison.

The Freewinds is at Bonaire [Bulgravia?] weekly. I think it spends
most time on the seas. If it was docked permanently, they'd want it to
be in a place like Bonaire which has no ferry or any other way than a
charter boat or plane to get to Aruba, Curacao, or Venezuela.

the Dialysis Center is located in the San Francisco Hospital on
Bonaire in the center of Kralendijk. Bonaire is an island in the
Netherland Antilles.

Okay, all the luxury and snorkeling and beaches and entertainment...
and you have to SHARE accommodations on the Freewinds? I already know
that cabin sharing was common / expected, but yeesh.. way to cut into
the glossy PR vacation image they were going for. They almost had me
til I got to the "shared accommodations" bit.
It does sound like they're downsizing by moving the Freewinds courses
ashore, but it's funny how they bury that in "big news!" at a "big
event!". Bury bad news in glossy PR.
