Fruitcakes? Probably. But you find this sort of thing in the Jewish
Defense League, the New Black Panthers and in Asian cultures as well. I
have known Japanese, Chinese, Arabs and Asian Indians were were total
bigots for their own race.

To think that only white people can be racist is racist. :-D

I don't think white supremacists are necessarily fruitcakes. I think
they might be crazy or dangerous, but I wouldn't necessarily describe
them as "fruit cakes".

I would, however, describe anyone who believes that it's OK to create
their religion as a fruitcake. Wouldn't you?

Anthropology has shown that "religion" goes back to the beginning of homo
sapiens and is found in all human cultures. Culture is essential to all
human societies and they are even more responsive to natural selection
pressures than genetics.

So, no. It is not "fruitcake" to create their own religion. Their
religion has a "race" component which is not unlike Judiasm (God's chosen
people) or Islam (if you're not Arab, you're something lessor, even if
Muslim) or some of the native American religions like the religion of the
Ottawa, Ojibwa and Potawatomi - where if you weren't of one of the "three
fires", you just weren't really human.

And the belief that only white racist are dangerous is in itself "racist"
- even if it is based in fact. The belief that all races are "equal" is
totally irrational and counter to the data. The whole cultural concept of
"racism" being bad is an irrational belief - a religious value.

scripture. Some obvious examples that come to mind, for instance, are
the Bible, the Koran, and the Book of Mormon. Without a claim of
having authority from God and without any scripture, how can anyone
create a new religion?

But you can communicate with "God", by doing scientific experiments, you
ask "God" which of alternative scientific hypothesis are true, and God
answers.

Take the EPR "experiment", and ignore the fact Einstein thought he could
dictate to god and claimed he didn't need a real experiment and could
just do it in his head. (Thought experiments are rubbish)

The experiment was designed to see which of two seemingly mutually
exclusive theories, Special Relativity or Quantum Mechanics, was false.

"God" answered that both were correct, which was an unexpected result.

So, clearly you can communicate with god. You just have to know how to
pray.

But that's besides the point. Why is it necessary to not lie and say "God
told you so"?

It's possible, I suppose that they are simply talking about creating a
new Christian denomination or cult. That is very common, of course.
The religion that Jim Jones created, for example, was an example of
that, and Jones, in fact, proclaimed himself to be the Second Coming
of Christ. If you read the referenced website, though, it looks to me
like what he is talking about is a brand-new, original religion. How
many brand-new, original religions can you think of that have sprouted
up in the last thousand years or so?

He gave some good examples of people who claimed to have communicated
with a god or gods, so this statement appear true; typically those who
create a new religion do claim communication with a god or gods.

His point is you need to back up what you say with commonly accepted
facts and some logic. Then we can question the facts we don't accept and
