Yes, I am very interested in that question. Especially if he was, as
rumored, severely disabled and Preston gave up custody of him to her
mother (after a conflict over whether he could be treated with
medication).

I emphasize that this rumor has not been substantiated. If the story
is true, I hope more details emerge....

I don't see any evidence of it, except two news statements. Looking
back through newspaper archives I don't see any mention of Kelly
Preston giving birth around 1987 or so. I don't see any mention of
her being pregnant. And the claim on wwp was that she had some sort
of lawsuit in Hawaii over how her son was being cared for. Wouldn't
that have come out by now? So it's possible, but I don't see any
evidence that she had a pre-Travolta son.
