The following is an email I sent to a "Christian" website, purporting in its
claims, to present the plan of salvation which I found contradictory to the
scripture:

I must take issue with you on your presenting of the plan of salvation.
What one must do is presented by Peter in answer to the question "Men and
brethren what must we do?"

The answer was swift and precise:

37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said
unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we
do?

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in
the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the
gift of the Holy Ghost.

(New Testament | Acts 2:37 - 38)

And then this on the subject of receiving the Holy Ghost:

14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had
received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:

15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive
the Holy Ghost:

16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in
the name of the Lord Jesus.)

17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the
Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,

19 Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may
receive the Holy Ghost.

(New Testament | Acts 8:14 - 19)

Therefore I detect your doctrine to be false as it does not square with the
plain word of God contained in the Bible. You have no Apostles, legal
administrators, and as Joseph Smith said, "There is no salvation between the
two lids of the Bible without a legal administrator." I present one more
evidence still further, that Paul was instructed by the Savior himself whom
he saw in the vision to apply to Ananias for salvation, to be baptized (for
he had been ordained by the Twelve at Jerusalem and empowered to teach and
baptize legally. So you have no authority and I detect you to be part of
that whore described by John when he saw the mother of harlots. The mother
being the Catholic mother and the harlots are the individual denominations,
saith the Lord.

Wo unto those who pervert the right way of the Lord!
