: > Congratulations, both of you jerks made the blacklist.
: Cool! I now have a Fomin Number!
OK, now we've got Fomin Numbers, Grubor Numbers, and probably many
more on the way. This is clearly getting out of hand. I propose
the following:
The KOOK-Number!
----------------
The latest net-kookery fad is creating and posting massive lists
of your "enemies", preferably with a listing of each enemy's
horrible crimes, real or imagined, against humanity.
Calculating your KOOK-Number is simple: just add up the number
of enemy lists you've appeared in! As a bonus, if the person
who makes the list is ever voted KoTM, all of their lists count
double! So if you made Fomin's "Sandlot Bullies" list, you
get a KOOK-Number of 1. If you made John Grubor's "USENET
SEXUAL ORIENTATION DATA" list, you get a 2, since Grubor was
named KoTM for December. If you made both, you get a 3.
The KOOK-Code!
--------------
Once everyone starts proudly displaying their KOOK-Numbers,
soon to become major status symbols, people will naturally want
to know how your KOOK-number was earned, especially if it's
a high one. Hence, the KOOK-Code, suitable for framing or
inclusion in your signature. It's simple to understand:
For each kook-enemy list you appear on, your KOOK-Code block
contains the creator's name, followed by a "+" for each list
they include you in. If they've made KoTM, show their
extra-special status by putting their name, and "+" signs,
in parentheses, with "*2" at the end. For example:
Fomin's list only:
KC: Fomin+
Fomin's list, and Grubor's:
KC: (Grubor+)*2 Fomin+
If Grubor had posted his "pedophile" list, and you made that list
in addition to his homosexual list, and Fomin's list, you'd get:
KC: (Grubor++)*2 Fomin+
The KOOK-Number!
The KOOK-Code!
Wear them with PRIDE!

Excellent. I like this a *lot*. Note my headers.
Pity Boursy never got around to publishing his list of "plug pullers

I am kind of flattered about the Fomin list, since i actually made that
one. Only listed as anonymous though; but then, so was Windigo, so i
don't feel quite so bad. Almost makes up for not being on the Grubor list.

Oh, my! I'd forgotten all about that one! OK, so there are eleven
lucky people out there who may well have a Kook-number of 3 already!
Actually, after some consideration, I think the Kook-Number and Kook-
Code need a slight modification. Mostly because my Kook-number is
too low to be a proper badge of honor, and I don't want to wait for
the next list. Ans also because, as someone who uses computers a lot,
I can't bear to use any product that doesn't get revised all the time,
even if it's something I made up myself. I'll call these "KOOK-Number
v.2" (or "KN2" for short, sig-style usage) and "KOOK-Code v.2" (aka
"KC2"), in case anyoneprefers to stay with the original code ("KN"
and "KC").
The KOOK-Number, version 2!!
----------------------------
The basic idea is the same as the original Kook-code, except that
you can count any time a well-known kook has used one of their
"signature" insults in reference to you. So if Boursy has called
you an "aging cowboy", for example, you get one point. You also
get points if Grubor has called you, for example, a pedophile, or
of Fomin has called you a Nazi. Please note: EACH SIGNATURE INSULT
COUNTS ONCE ONLY. Most "signature" insults have been used too many
times to count, so "aging cowboy", for example, counts one, even if
you've been called that 73 times. As with the original KOOK-Code,
all insults from someone who has been voted KoTM count double!
The KOOK-Code, version 2!!
--------------------------
Similar to the original KOOK-Code, but reflects the KN2 in that the
KC2 includes the name of each kook who's professed their hatred for
you, followed by "+" signs to indicate the number of "signature"
insults they've used toward you. And, you still use the "*2" to
denote kooks who've won KoTM. Note that, to count, the insult
in question MUST have been used repeatedly, over an extended
period. No exceptions. If disputes arise, I will create a web
page listing all qualifying insults and the sources.
Some examples of the KN2 and KC2:
If Boursy has called you "aging cowboy", "not overly bright", and has
said "you've no honor",
KN2: 3
KC2: Boursy+++
If Grubor has called you "pedophile" and "hard drug pusher",
KN2: 4
KC2: (Grubor++)*2
If Fomin has called you a "Nazi" and a "flaming bully",
KN2: 2
KC2: Fomin++
All of the above:
KN2: 9
KC2: Boursy+++ (Grubor++)*2 Fomin++
As with the original KOOK Code and KOOK Number, you get to count
every "enemies list" you've appeared on, regardless of what you
get called!
Show us your KOOK Codes, people!
Now, to dig through the archives and figure my KC2...

Hey, the KC2 is *already* designed to catch almost any insult from a
known kook. Some people will probably need 64-bit processors just
to calculate their KN2. We've gotta draw the line somewhere. In
practice, though since insults don't get archived and recirculated the
way enemy lists do, nobody's likely to know how many times you count
the limpdick group.

The KOOK-Code only covers enemy lists, if you want to count the
insults you'll have to use KC2. Based on the above, your KC
is "(Grubor+)*2 Fomin+", for a KN of 3.

The crucial question here is whether Palmer can be considered a
