So I opened Google Groups in Chrome, expecting everything to be OK.

Instead it only showed four groups, none of which were this one!
AARRGH!

Since I'm not one to accept a big old FUCK YOU from anyone I started
poking at things- I usually have it set to display groups in list form
since the grid is spectacularly useless, but I hit "grid" and got all
my groups back! Then I set it back to list and WHEW all my groups were
again back.

Eternal-September is looking better and better.

That's who I've set up with for now, and so far (all of 1 day) so good.
Caveat - ANY AT&T email is not going to work as a return for registration
completion - AT&T doesn't like the org. Yahoo email worked fine.

Your first problem is you used Chrome.

Seriously, don't.

Yeah, I'm figuring that out. I'm considering uninstalling all Google stuff except Maps and Picasa because I don't like Google Update running in the background All The Damn Time.

Foxing fires right now, baybee.

I've already disabled Flash and that really helped.

Why can't I read the comments for more than a second? Once the page finishes reloading they go blank. One of them looked a bit derogatory.
