Now *that* one looks eerily familiar.

I love PAN (it's not entirely unlike therapy for me), but don't
always have a chance to peruse it. Thanks for pointing out ones
I'd missed!

I am boggled. Howsomever! It might help to explain some of the
weird goings-on I have noticed in the libarry bathrooms. Like,
throwing the TP on the floor, instead of in the toilet. Or, even
more bogglinger, just not using TP.

Urghh. You'd think accounting people would know better than to
reinforce those old stereotypes...

Our semi-automatic espress maker had been labelled "die Maschine ist
kaputt :(" for a while, but it was replaced while I was away for a few
weeks. It's still freely available to people who provide their own
beans or grounds.

I'm sympathetic about the office fridge clean-out notice, since
someone upstairs nobly purged ours last summer when it was starting to
smell a bit like barf.

I've only been ensconced in the corporate world for a few years, so
it's neat to discover how universal some things are.

We had a popcorn fire in the building a few days ago that summoned a
fire truck. I was so proud that it was the losers on the second floor
and not _our_ company.

It makes you wonder, to consider that all the effort people put
towards interviewing and choosing supposedly smart employees in high-
tech fields with degrees and everything, they still can't weed out the
people who can't operate a simple kitchen appliance safely.

We once had a Pop Tart fire in a building that stored flammable toxic
waste. The fire department was not amused, even if it did only take out one
corner of the break room.

We had a whole battalion show up, three squad cars, and the streets were
blocked off for 1/4 radius from the building.

Pop Tarts are FUN food!

You worked in a circular building? What was its *full* radius?

Also; no they're not.

Oops. Quarter *mile* radius.

That's an awfully large building!
